To check the results for the AILET 2026 exam, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Click on the result link given on the NLU Delhi official website
2. You will be redirected to a log-in window
3. Enter your AILET 2026 registered mobile number and password
4. On successful log-in, the results would be displayed on the screen
5. Download the result

The AILET first merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.), LLM and PhD in Law courses will be out at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To check the merit list, follow the steps below: 

• Go to the official AILET Portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. 
• Navigate the "Notification" section on the portal's homepage. 
• Look for the "First BA LLB (Hons.)/BCom LLB (Hons.)/LLM/Phd in Law Merit List" link. 
• Click on the link. 
• The merit list will open in a new tab. 

The methodology followed to determine the merit rank if two or more candidates score the same marks in AILET is explained below.

BA LLB program 

1. If two or more candidates get the same marks, their merit will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the logical reasoning section.
2. If the tie persists, then the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
3. If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then the merit rank will be decided by the computerized draw of lots.

LLM program

1. Senior Age;
2. Computerized draw of lots 

AILET 2026 second merit list for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.) and LLM  will be released at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. If a candidate does not get selected in the second round of the AILET counselling, he or she needs to wait for the release of the round 3 merit list.

The invite list for AILET has the following details:

• The invite list is released category-wise
• It included the application number, roll number, total marks, and All India Ranks of candidates shortlisted for counselling.
• It also included the seat matrix and reservation for AILET admission process.
• The counselling schedule
• The step-wise counselling process.

The AILET admission process after the results are declared is as mentioned below: 

• AILET counselling: The number of candidates invited for counseling will be FIVE times the number of seats available in each category. The consortium will upload the list of eligible candidates on its website before the start of counseling registration.
• AILET cutoff: The NLU Delhi will release the AILET cutoff on its official website at the time of seat allotment. The cutoff is the minimum marks/rank that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to a 5-year LLB or one-year LLB program.

It is possible for a student to prepare for AILET in one month and score well, but it depends on various factors such as the student's aptitude, previous knowledge of the topics, dedication, and hard work. If a student is already familiar with the basics and has a good understanding of the exam pattern and syllabus, then one month can be enough time to revise and practice. However, if a student is starting from scratch, one month may not be enough to cover all the topics and practice enough. In such cases, it is recommended that the student follows a structured study plan, focusing on the important topics and sections of the exam, and devotes enough time for practice and revision. In summary, while one month may not be enough time for everyone to prepare for the AILET it is possible to achieve a good score with focused and consistent effort.

Candidates must note that all participating institutes in AILET will release a separate category-specific cutoffs for every course they offer. The AILET Cutoff 2024 mentions the ranks of the candidates who are eligible for admission to the college. However, it does not releases the marks scored by the candidates. But, the higher the score, the better is the rank. 

AILET cut-off 2024 will depend on various factors such as the total number of candidates, seat intake, the difficulty level of the exam, the category of the aspirant, and the performance of the candidate. In case the difficulty level of the exam is high then the cut-off marks and score are expected to go down. 

Even though NLU Delhi is a National Law University but it is not a part of the Consortium of NLUs. All the NLUs in India have been granted the status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Thus, there is no major difference in the courses offered at NLU Delhi as compared to the other National Law Universities. However, the NLU Delhi offers admission to is BA LLB and LLM program through the AILET entrance exam.

The AILET counselling fee of INR 30,000 (INR for reserved category candidates) will be refunded only to candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the fee but who could not find a place in the merit list. The refund will be initiated by NLU Delhi to the source on completion of the admission process, whichever is earlier. 

AILET Scorecard 2025 will carry details like the marks, merit rank, and qualifying marks for AILET 2025. NLU Delhi also published the list of AILET 2024 qualified candidates. Candidates included in the list will be eligible to participate in the AILET 2025 counseling process. It must be noted that the counseling process is being conducted in online mode soon after the declaration of the results. 

Candidates must note that the counseling fee has to be paid online using Digital Payment methods like Credit/ Debit cards, Net-banking, UPI, etc. only. Candidates must note that only those who have their name in the merit list will be allowed to appear in the AILET 2025 Counselling process.
