After the second merit list is out, qualified candidates will have to pay the admission fee and secure their seat in the course for which they applied. AILET 2026 Second Merit List
The National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) will release the AILET 2026 2nd Merit List on January 21, 2026. The candidate must note that the AILET result is already available on the website of the National Law University, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The NLU Delhi released the AILET first merit list 2026 on January 8, 2026.

If your name is not mentioned on the AILET first merit list, you will have to check the second merit list for the exam. After the release of the second merit list, the eligible candidates can pay the admission fee and secure their seat at NLU Delhi in the course they applied for.
Candidates are not allowed to carry following items to AILET 2026 Examination hall:
- Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators etc.
- Handwritten notes
- Manuals and digests
- Any other form of study material

What After AILET 2026 Second Merit List?
AILET 2026 exam was conducted on December 14, 2025 in online mode. AILET 2026 Result is available to download on the website. NLU Delhi released the AILET first merit list 2026 on January 8, 2026.
The AILET 2027 exam will be held tentatively in December 2026. The candidates who will appear for the exam have to take their AILET admit card for entry to the centre.
There is no particular mobile number to contact the AILET exam authority. Candidates can connect the authority using the landline number at 011-28034257 from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on all working day.
If you find your name on the second merit list of AILET 2026, you are now eligible for the next round of counseling and seat allotment. Follow the instructions provided by NLU Delhi carefully, which typically involve document verification, fee payment, and confirming your chosen program. In case your hall ticket number is not there in the AILET 2nd merit list, you can wait for the release of the third merit list.

NLU Delhi BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2026 is out for round 1 across different categories. For the students belongong to the General AI quota, the AILET cutoff score is 60. For the OBC category, the cutoff score is 330. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the category-wise cutoff details:

No, the presidency university do not accept AILET Score. Candidates have to appear either for PULAT or CLAT to get admission in the law courses offered by the varsity. Without it you can not get admission.

The last date to submit the AILET counselling fee was December 27, 2025. The candidates who get the invitation to participate in the AILET counselling have to pay the counselling registration fee before the last date.
