The selected candidates in the AILET PG merit list have to pay the admission confirmation fee of INR 50,000 before January 27, 2026. The AILET PG 2026 Exam was held on December 14, 2025. Q:   Is AILET cutoff for all categories the same?
A:

No, AILET Entrance Exam cutoff is released separately for the various categories. For instance, the cut-off is available for categories like Open, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PH categories. Note that open category candidates will not be considered for admission under reserved category seats. However, candidates belonging to reserved category will be considered for admission under both open and the reserved category they belong to. To be considered for admission under reserved category, the candidate must furnish the required category certificates. However, any candidate who is found using counterfeit documents can be disqualified at any stage of the admission process.

The NLU Delhi released the official counseling and seat allotment schedule for the AILET PG exam via a notification on the official website. The candidates who appeared for the AILET PG exam can now check the AILET second merit list on the website. The university released the AILET First Merit List on January 8, 2026. The candidates who will be selected for admission to the LLM course at NLU Delhi will have to pay the admission confirmation fee before the last date.   • Log in to your candidate portal. 
  • Click on the PG result link and save your scorecard as a PDF.

AILET 2026 LLM Admit Card

The AILET PG 2026 admit card was available to download at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To download the admit card, candidates can use the following steps: 

  • Go to the AILET 2025 portal.
  • Log in to your candidate portal using your "Username" and "Password."
  • Click on the PG admit card link. 
  • Save the admit card as PDF and create multiple printouts. 
  • Do not forget to take the admit card printout to the exam centre on the exam day.

The AILET PG 2026 registration form was released online. Interested candidates had to fill the form and sit for the entrance exam to get admission to the LLM programme. Read further to understand the AILET PG admission process 2026:

1. Candidates need to visit the website of NLU Delhi -nludelhi.ac.in  or nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/

2. Click on 'Register to Apply Now' where you need to create a signup/ login account by providing the below-mentioned information:

  • Name.
  • E-mail Address.
  • Create a Password.
  • Date of Birth. 
  • Mobile Number. 
  • Contact Address.

3. Click on confirm registration, and log in again to fill the application form as under:

Select the Law course 

  • The exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate law courses; therefore, candidates need to select the course they are applying for. 
  • For this, candidates need to select the application form for – LLM.
  • Once, the candidates have selected the course in which they want to get admission they need to click on the “Apply Now” button for the next step.

Pay the Application Fee

In the final step towards completing the application process, candidates have to do AILET Application Form 2026 Fee Payment as mentioned below:

Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee by Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through the online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates have to select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking and proceed to pay. 

Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode, then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch and a challan will be generated.

Once the application fee has been paid and the status for it is reflected in the applicant account, candidates have to cross-check the details entered on the form and submit it online only. Also, take printouts of the submitted application form for future reference.

No, the presidency university do not accept AILET Score. Candidates have to appear either for PULAT or CLAT to get admission in the law courses offered by the varsity. Without it you can not get admission.
