National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) will release the AILET 4th Merit List 2026 on May 5, 2026, through its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates can check the AILET 2026 merit list for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses available on this page. The AILET first merit list 2026 was announced on January 8, 2026, and the AILET 2nd merit list 2026 came out on January 21, 2026. The upcoming AILET 3rd merit list 2026 will include the names and ranks of candidates shortlisted for the next round of admission.
The NLU Delhi will release the AILET fourth merit list for admission to BA LLB and LLM courses at the university. The AILET exam for the 2026-27 academic session for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses was conducted on December 14. Candidates can also download their provisional seat allotment letter from their login account for AILET 2026. The merit list is provisional and mentions the category-wise ranks, marks, and roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. The seat allotment will be done as per the seat reservation criteria.

No, NLU Delhi is conducting the AILET UG (BA LLB) and AILET PG (LLM) this year. AILET PhD exam 2026 is not happening.
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:
- It is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre; candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
- Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, and Ration Card.
- Candidates should carry an attested passport-size photograph (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form).
- Since the AILET is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre.
- The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.

AILET is now conducted once in a year, and in month of December. The exam authority, National Law University, Delhi always conducted AILET once in a year, except for year 2022, when the exam was held twice I. e. once in June and then in December. However, the exam authority also notified that it's one time modification, and from AILET 2024 onwards, the exam will be held once in a year. AILET entrance exam is conducted once in a year in December every year. The exam is conducted for admission to BA LLB, LLM and Phd programs at the NLU Delhi. Candidates who are appearing in CLAT 2026 can also appear for the AILET exam to increase their chances of admission to NLU Delhi.

NLU Delhi Fees for all categories
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the provisional seat allotment have to pay the admission fees as under:
