All India Law Entrance Test 2026 ( AILET )

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted by the National Law University, Delhi for admissions to its Bachelor of Arts- Bachelor of Laws - BA LLB (Hons.), Master of Laws - LLM courses. NLU Delhi has announced the exam date for AILET 2026. Candidates can keep a track of the latest notifications for AILET as and when released by the National Law University.
AILET is now conducted once in a year, and in month of December. The exam authority, National Law University, Delhi always conducted AILET once in a year, except for year 2022, when the exam was held twice I. e. once in June and then in December. However, the exam authority also notified that it's one time modification, and from AILET 2024 onwards, the exam will be held once in a year. NLU Delhi BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2026 is out for round 1 across different categories. For the students belongong to the General AI quota, the AILET cutoff score is 60. For the OBC category, the cutoff score is 330. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the category-wise cutoff details:

No, the presidency university do not accept AILET Score. Candidates have to appear either for PULAT or CLAT to get admission in the law courses offered by the varsity. Without it you can not get admission.

The last date to submit the AILET counselling fee was December 27, 2025. The candidates who get the invitation to participate in the AILET counselling have to pay the counselling registration fee before the last date.

National Law University (NLU) Delhi has released the answer keys for the AILET 2026 LLM exam on December 14, after the exam. The objections window is open till December 16, 12 PM. After receiving the objection, the final AILET 2026 answer key will be published.
