
NLU Delhi has announced the AILET exam pattern on the official NLU Delhi website. The exam pattern was provided along with the detailed AILET notification 2026. As per the notification, the duration of the exam will be 120 minutes, and 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked from English, GK, current affairs, and logical reasoning. There will be no descriptive sections in the AILET question paper.

AILET Tie-Breaking Method 2026
Following criteria will be adopted to deal with situations where two or more candidates get the same score:
- If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), their merit will be determined based on higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2026.
- If the merit is still the same, then the candidate senior in age shall get preference. If there is still no change in merit, then a computerized draw of lots shall be taken into consideration.
- If there is no merit change, authorities shall consider computerized lot draws.
