Admission to the MBA course is on the basis of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT, followed by a personal interview (PI) round. The selection procedure is completed and carried out as per the IIIT Allahabad criteria. The institute has not released the official cutoff for the MBA course. IIITA offers a four-year BTech as its flagship course. The UG-level programme is available in five specialisations, including Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), and IT (Business Informatics). Additionally, ECE and IT specialisations are also offered under the flexible academic programme.
IIIT Allahabad has a strong research culture and offers research opportunities in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology. The institute also has collaborations with several industries and research organisations. Only candidates who have successfully completed their respective professional degree programmes or are enrolled in their last year or semester are eligible to apply for research programmes at IIIT Allahabad. At the time of application submission, the candidate's cumulative score, or CGPI, must have been at least 65%.
