If the online transaction of SBI PO application fee is not successfully completed, candidates are required to register again and make payment online.

Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the SBI PO application form. Candidates should download the application form and keep it safely.

The marks obtained in the SBI PO prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Only the marks of the mains exam and interview are taken into consideration for final merit list.

SBI does not provide separate window to edit SBI PO application form. Candidates can edit the details entered in the application form within the prescribed application deadline. Request for change/correction in the data entered in the SBI PO application form is not entertained after it is finally submitted. 

The normalisation process is given below:

• The raw scores of all candidates are calculated based on the number of questions answered correctly in each section of the exam
• The raw scores are then converted to scaled scores using a statistical process called equating. This ensures that the difficulty level of the exam remains consistent across different test administrations
• The scaled scores are used to determine the final scores of the candidates, which are used for selection and ranking purposes

• There is SBI PO negative marking for wrong answers, one-fourth marks assigned to a particular question in the objective test are deducted as penalty to arrive at the corrected scores
• There is no SBI PO negative marking for the subjective part of the mains exam
• If a question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question

SBI PO 2024 handwritten declaration is a text that candidates need to upload while filling the application form. By uploading the handwritten declaration, candidates agree that the information provided in the application form is correct and valid.

The basic pay is INR 27,620 (with 4 advance increments). The starting basic SBI PO Salary is INR 41,960 (with 4 advance increments). SBI PO pay scale is INR 36,000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The officials are also eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, medical, and other allowances.

SBI has introduced psychometric test in the selection process of SBI PO exam. The psychometric test is conducted for personality profiling for those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase 3. The performance of candidates in the psychometric test will be placed before the interview panel to have a through perspective on the candidates.

The selection process of SBI PO comprises Phase I (Preliminary), Phase II (Mains), and Phase III (Psychometric Test, Interview and Group Exercises). Candidates selected for SBI PO exam are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

The dimension for photograph is given below:

• The dimension should be 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
• The size of the file should be between 10kb and 20kb
• Candidates are required to ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20kb
• The signature in capital letters is not accepted

The following should be the dimension for photograph:

• The dimension should be 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
• The size of the file should be between 20kb and 50 kb
• Candidates need to ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb

• To register enter names, mobile numbers, email ID, and security code
• Upon successful registration, registration ID and password are generated

Candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
