The authority is expected to release the CSIR NET 2024 Dec result soon at csirnet.nta.ac.in. As per Shiksha polls, check below how many candidates appeared for the Life Science subject, etc. Candidates will be able to download the CSIR NET 2024 Dec result from the official website, and the cutoff will also be out with the result.

The CSIR NET 2024 exam was conducted from February 28 to March 2, 2025. The result for the December session is awaited and will be released at csirnet.nta.ac.in. According to the Shiksha Poll, 42% of candidates appeared for the Life Science Subject in the CSIR NET 2024 December session exam. CSIR NET 2024 Dec Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the CSIR NET 2024 result for the December session. The CSIR NET 2024 Dec exam was conducted from February 28 to March 2, 2025, in 326 examination centres located in 164 cities across the country for 2,38,451 candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates are eagerly waiting for the CSIR NET 2024 result. Along with the result, the CSIR NET 2024 Dec Cutoff will also be released. CSIR NET 2024 December session Exam: What does Poll Say?

More than 4,000 respondents have voted in the Shiksha Poll for the subjects that appeared in the CSIR NET Dec 2024 exam. Out of these, 42% voted for the life science subject, 26% voted for the chemical science subject, and for the earth science subject, only 3% of respondents voted. Also, for the mathematics subject, 19% voted, and for the physical science subject, 10% voted. CSIR NET 2024 Exam: Minimum Qualifying Score

Candidates required to score at least 33% in the General, EWS, and OBC categories, and 25% in the SC, ST, and PwD categories to qualify. This is the minimum bench mark. In Life Science subject, the raw marks obtained have been normalised into NTA score/percentile and results have been declared based on percentile cut-off as indicated.

Generally, the good score in the CSIR NET exam is considered as 120+ out of 200 for JRF General category candidates and for Lectureship 90 to 110 range. This can vary year to year.

As per the cutoff trends and normalization process, candidates should aim to achieve at least 100 marks out of 200 to clear or meet the benchmark for the CSIR NET Life Science exam. For candidates who want to score for JRF then 110 or above is considered to be a good target.
