Upcoming SSC Exams 2026: The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC Calendar 2026-27 which consists of the upcoming list of the SSC exams including SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, SSC MTS, SSC JE, Selection Post, Sub Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPF, and Stenographer. Candidates preparing for the upcoming SSC exam can refer the calendar and prepare their strategy accordingly. The Commission every year announces 80,000 vacancies for candidates with 10th, 12th and graduation qualifications. Every year, the Commission releases various SSC recruitment exams to fill vacancies for 10th pass, 12th pass and graduate candidates. These SSC vacancies are filled through various exams including the SSC GD Constable exam, the SSC CGL, SSC Stenographer, SSC MTS, SSC JE, SSC Delhi Police Constable, and others. Lakhs of candidates appear for these exams to get their dream government job. The dates and schedule of these exams are announced through the release of the SSC calendar so that candidates can prepare well in advance.

Yes, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the state-wise SSC GD Constable vacancies during the examination process. The final SSC GD vacancy list is released state-wise, category-wise, post-wise and gender-wise. The SSC GD Constable vacancy is released in two parts-Part I and Part II. The Part I comprises SSC GD vacancies for BSF, CSIF, CRPF, SSB, ITPB, AR and SSF. Part II comprises the vacancies for NCB. The SSC GD vacancy is also announced in the official notification. The GD Constable vacancy announced in notification are given gender-wise for male and female and force-wise.
Candidates are required to carry the given documents to the SSC CHSL exam centres:
- SSC CHSL admit card
- Passport size photos
- Photos ID proof such as Voter ID, Driving License, ID Card issued by the Government or other Offices where a candidate may be working.
SSC GD recruitment is done in total eight forces. For the post of Constable (GD), the recruitment is done in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles (AR), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). For the post of Rifleman (GD), recruitment is done in Assam Rifles and Sepoy is posted in the NCB.
