The Paper 1 exam is held for 200 marks while Phase 3 carries 300 marks. The interview carries 75 marks. Paper 1 of Phase 2 exam is Economics and Social Issue. The paper test the candidate’s knowledge of economics and social problems with India. Supervising banks and financial institutions: You may be responsible for supervising banks and other financial institutions to ensure they are compliant with RBI regulations and policies. This involves regular inspections and audits of banks, assessing their risk management practices, and ensuring they are meeting capital adequacy requirements. Communication and public relations: You may be involved in communicating RBI policies, decisions and reports to the public, media and other stakeholders. Q:   How can I become an RBI Grade B Officer?
A:

Any graduate candidates between 21 and 30 years can apply for RBI Grade B exam. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to the reserved categories.Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline or have equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60 per cent marks (50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or postgraduation in any discipline/equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 55 per cent marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years. The educational qualification vary as per the department. Candidates belonging to General Category/EWSs who have appeared six times for phase 1 exam for this in the past are not eligible to apply. There is no restriction for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of RBI Grade B phase 1 exam?
A:

The difficulty level of RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam is usually moderate to difficult. In 2022, the difficulty level of the English section was easy whereas the Quant section was calculative. Current Affairs questions were asked from the recent events that took place in May and April 2022. In General Awareness, there were questions on Budget. Static GK questions were very less. The Reasoning section was difficult and time-consuming. In Quant, questions were asked from Compound Interest and Simple Interest, Quadratic Equation. Reasoning questions were asked from Seating Arrangement, Paragraph Based questions, Statement Based questions. There were two Reading Comprehension in English section.

Attempt Mock Test

Attempting minimum of three to four mock tests per week is helpful for candidates. First, it boosts confidence to attempt a maximum number of questions.
