IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Analysis 2022 (Sep 4)
The overall difficulty level of the exam held in Shift 1 was easy to moderate. An attempt of 71-77 questions is considered as good. The reasoning section has questions on topics like syllogism, inequality, etc. The majority of questions asked in Maths were from arithmetic and DI. In English, one reading comprehension was asked along with some questions on word swap words.

IBPS Clerk Shift 4 Analysis 2022
The overall paper of Shift 4 was easy to moderate. Check below the section-wise exam analysis:
Reasoning Ability: The difficulty level of the reasoning section was Easy. The reasoning section had puzzles questions.
English Language: Most of the students found the English Language section to be easy.
Quantitative Aptitude: A good number of questions were asked from the Arithmetic & Simplification topics. There was also DI Set with an easy level. The overall difficulty level of the Quantitative Aptitude section was Easy.
IBPS Clerk Shift 3 Analysis 2022
The overall difficulty level of Shift 3 was easy to moderate. The Reading Comprehension carried story-based passages. In Reasoning, Box-Based puzzle, month-based puzzle, floor-based puzzle and comparison-based puzzle. In Quant, questions were asked from Simplification, Data Interpretation (DI) and Arithmetic.
IBPS Clerk Shift 2 Analysis 2022

Reasoning: There were a total of threesets of Puzzles and Seating Arrangements in Shift 2. Apart from the Puzzle and Seating Arrangements, other questions were asked from Syllogism, Inequality, Blood Relation, etc. Types of questions asked from the puzzles are given below:
- Square Based Puzzle (corner inside & middle outside)
- Month Based Puzzle (7 month)
- Floor & Flat Based Puzzle
Quant: Maximum questions were asked from Simplification and Data Interpretation (DI). Arithmetics questions were based on Average, SI & CI, Profit Loss, Percentage, etc. The bar graph DI question was based on 3 Company, agriculture product manufacture.
English: This section carried questions from Reading Comprehension based on shark including fill in the blanks, antonym and synonyms. Antonyms and Synonyms questions were based on Fury and Supplement.
IBPS Clerk Exam Analysis Shift 1
In Shift 1, there was one Reading Comprehension passage and around seven to eight questions were asked based on the passage. The passage of Reading Comprehension was lengthy. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2022
IBPS Clerk prelims exam pattern is such that it comprises three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The duration of the test is 60 minutes, each section is for 20 minutes. The paper carries total 100 objective-type multiple choice questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 100 marks. Besides English and Hindi, the question paper is framed in 13 regional language. IBPS Clerk prelims exam pattern structure is given below.

IBPS Clerk Exam Analysis 2022 & Student Reaction
Shiksha reported live from one of the IBPS Clerk exam centres in Noida where around 500 students are appearing in each shift to gather the feedback of candidates regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam. Candidates can check below the feedback shared by students:
Vansh said, "In English, questions were asked from Error Detection, Comprehension, Meaningful word. English section was easy compared to Maths and Reasoning. There were no questions on para jumbles in my question paper set. In Maths, questions were asked from Simplification (10 questions), Missing Series, DI (One question) and rest were from Arithmetic. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles (Uncertain, Designation, Square Puzzles). IBPS Clerk prelims cutoff will go high as the paper was easy."
Mehek said, "The paper was easy, however, I found the Quant section to be difficult. English and Reasoning sections were good. In Reasoning, questions were asked from puzzles, blood relation, etc."
Vineet said, "The overall difficulty level of the paper was good. In English questions were asked from Comprehension, Wrong & Appropriate Words, Antonyms & Synonyms. In Maths questions were asked from DI, Number Series, Artimatic, Simplification. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles."
Gaurav Kumar said, "The English section covered the topics given in the IBPS Clerk syllabus. In Numerical Ability, questions were asked from DI, Simplification, etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from puzzles and rest were from miscelleneous topics."
