The overall difficulty level for the Economics paper was moderate. Teaching Aptitude and Communication questions were easy to moderate in nature. ICT was moderate to difficult in nature. Paper 2 questions comprised questions from Sunk cost, GDS's current, SAARC, Producer Surplus, Consumer Surplus, Probability (Heads and Tails, Cross Elasticity Demand, Chronology (Bank Rate, Repo Rate), Tax Multiplier, Benefit Principle, and Population Theory. The UGC NET December session exam was over on January 7. As per the students' feedback UGC NET January 2 Paper 1 was Moderate some felt that Assertion & Reasoning part was a bit difficult. Paper 1 was lengthy.
