Candidates must note that the Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability section is compulsory. The General Test also has to be taken by candidates opting for all test papers except Education (PGQP01).
As per the CUET PG 2026 exam pattern, there is only one section, carrying 75 questions in total. Hence, the Section B will not be there.

As per the previous exam pattern of the CUET PG exam, there were 25 questions in Section A. As per the latest or the revised CUET PG pattern, there is only one section, carrying 75 questions. The Section A or the General section has been removed since CUET PG 2025.

CUET PG 2026 General Question Paper Analysis
CUET PG 2026 General paper exam analysis was available here. Exam analysis was based on student reactions, reviews, subject matter experts’ viewpoints etc. In 2025, overall difficulty of General paper was easy to moderate. Number of good attempt questions were 50 to 55. A good number of questions were asked from general studies, English, Data Interpretation, Quant etc. As per students, English and reasoning were easiest in comparison to other topics.
