bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2026

Students can choose more than three subjects for the CUET PG exam but you guys can select one subject per exam session.

CUET PG Zoology 2025 Notification

CUET PG Zoology 2025 Notification for admissions to the masters degree programme will be released anytime soon by the exam officials. Last year NTA CUET PG notification was released in the month of Sepetember. Candidates can expect the release of CUET PG notification 2025 in the fourth week of December 2024, tentatively.  CUET PG 2025 exam notification 2025 will specify the CUET PG exam dates 2025, registration dates and eligibility criteria.

CUET PG 2025 Zoology Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can find the general minimal eligibility criteria for the MSc zoology course below. The university-specific criteria for the same may differ, therefore candidates are advised to check the information brochure for university-specific eligibility criteria before applying for the MSc Zoology Course.

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.

As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

The candidate must have studied Mathematics Hons. or studied subject Mathematics in the all the three years at Graduate level. For BSc (Hons)/BSc only Science subjects and for BA (Hons)/B A all subjects except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet.
MSc PhysicsBSc (Hons)/ BSc under 10 2 3 pattern securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of BSc Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be Hons subject at BSc (Hons) level/a subject studied in all the three years at Graduate level.
MSc Environmental SciencesA minimum of 50 percent marks (equivalent GPA) in BSc (Hons)/BSc (10 2 3) as well as at 10 & 10 2 examinations.

Age Limit

For appearing in the CUET (PG) 2025, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programmes in the Central Universities through the CUET (PG) 2025 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with 55% marks {50% in case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD} from a recognized Indian or foreign University.
  • BSc in Zoology (studied in 10+2+3 system) with Botany and Chemistry/Biochemistry as subsidiary subjects or any subject under Life Sciences with Zoology as a Major/Core/ Equal Optional subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate and also in the concerned subject separately, from a recognized University. Up to 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 25 years of age as on 01.07.2023.

In order to get admission in the Zoology course of the CUET PG participating universities, candidates must appear for the CUET PG 2025 exam. CUET PG Zoology Registration Form 2025

CUET Zoology PG application form 2025 is expected to start in the first week of January 2025, tentatively. CUET PG Exam pattern 2025 has been amended by NTA in compilance with UGC and the expert committee. As per the new changes, CUET PG 2025 exam pattern will provide 90 minutes per subject per paper for the test takers to take the exam instead of 105 minutes. CUET PG exam 2025 will be conducted once a year in CBT/ online mode and question paper medium of the examination will be bilingual across all the streams i.e., Science, Humanities, Acharya, Languages, MTech and higher studies.
