The IISER Entrance Exam 2026 Application Correction Window will open tentatively in the third week of April 2026. The purpose of the application correction process is to make changes to the IISER Entrance Exam 2026 registration form that applicants would have filled out incorrectly. Generally, candidates are provided two to three days to make changes in the IAT application form 2026.
The exam officials will announce the fields that can be edited, along with the non-editable fields, in the IISER Application Form Correction 2026. Candidates are required to edit the IISER application form within the stipulated time mentioned by the exam officials. IISER Exam 2026 Application Correction Window: Things to Remember
Candidates need to remember the following things:
- The option to edit the Subject / Test / Programme / Course will continue to be available till the correction period.
- If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable.
- Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.
- No fee will be refunded for the reduction of Test Papers.
- The only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate, i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.

There is no fixed number of entering preference for the IISER Entrance Exam counselling process. There are seven IISER institutes offering 11 programmes. Candidates have to select at least one IISER. Higher the number of preferences, better will be their chance of seat allotment.
