IISER 2026 application form correction window will open on April 16, 2026. Candidates who wish to make changes to the details mentioned in the IISER form 2026 can avail the facility. During the IAT 2026 application form correction process, candidates will not be allowed to make changes to the details provided while registration, such as name, dob, gender, citizenship, mobile number, and email. The IISER application form correction last date is April 18, 2026. The registered candidates can appear for IISER Aptitude Test on June 7, 2026

Commonly asked questions
The Seat Acceptance Fee is to be paid only after an offer of admission has been made to the candidate. The SAF will have to be paid as per the category entered by the candidate in the application.
- INR 35,000(INR 25,000 + INR 10,000, Non-refundable administrative fee) for General, EWS, OBC, OBC-NCL, PwD, KM/Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) categories.
- INR 17,500 (INR12,500 + INR 5,000 (Non-refundable administrative fee) for SC/ST categories.
- Failure to deposit the SAF within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the order. Furthermore, you will not be considered in any subsequent rounds of seat allotment during admission.
- Once you register in your allotted IISER, this amount will be adjusted against your? First semester fee.
Given below is a list of documents/certificates whose scanned copies are to be uploaded at the time of online application for IAT. The formats of the certificates are given in the Annexure.
- Class 10 certificate
- Class 12 (or equivalent examination).
- If the class 12 (or equivalent) marks sheet is not available now, then you can instead upload a signed declaration form mentioning: DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF ELIGIBILITY EXAM CERTIFICATE/ MARKSHEET SEE Annexure.
For Candidates seeking admission under the OBC-NCL category:
- As per the latest guidelines of the Government of India, the OBC-NCL Certificate should have been issued on or after April 01, 2026.
- If any OBC-NCL candidate fails to submit the OBC-NCL Certificate (issued on or after April 01, 2026) at the time of online application, the candidate has to upload a signed declaration form.
- The candidate has to upload a fresh Certificate (issued on or after 1 April 2026) on or before July 7, 2026.
- If the Certificate is not uploaded by the given date and time, the candidate will not be considered for admission under this category. If qualified, the category will be adjusted accordingly in the Common Rank List.

Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make changes in the application form. IISER Exam 2026 Application Correction Window: Things to Remember
Candidates need to remember the following things:
- The option to edit the Subject / Test / Programme / Course will continue to be available till the correction period.
- If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable.
- Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.
- No fee will be refunded for the reduction of Test Papers.
- The only one-time correction will be allowed to the candidate, i.e. once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.

IISER score 200 or above is a good marks. It can help to get admission to IISER Pune and IISc Bangalore. Candidates must have a good conceptual knowledge, give priority to all four subjects. Prepare for the exam according to the exam syllabus and take mock test to score above 200.

It is quite difficult for the GEN / OBC category to get admission to IISER with 50 marks. Even the reserved category students have less chance in the later counelling round for admission. To secure admission, students must score above 150 marks.

IISER exam is considered of moderate difficulty level. Majority of students finds Physics, and Mathematics challenging. PCM students may find biology tough while PCB students might find Mathematics tough. However, the difficulty level of IISER compared to JEE Main and Advanced is moderate to easy.
