CUET exam centres 2026 will be located at 306 cities across India and 15 abroad. The updated list of CUET exam centres is provided here. The CUET UG admit card 2026 and the city intimation slip for the exam mentions the allotted exam centre for the registered candidates. Candidates can download their CUET UG admit card 2026 and CUET UG exam intimation slip 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in by logging in with their application number and password or date of birth once released. Information such as CUET 2026 centre city location, exam date, slot and paper is displayed on the slip. Candidates are advised to keep their Aadhar card and other Government IDs updated. Q:   How can I check my CUET exam centre?
A: 

Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:

  1. Name of the candidate

  3. Category
  4. Location
  5. Date of exam

Q:   Can I change the CUET exam centre allotted to me?
A: 

On release of the CUET city intimation slip and CUET admit card, no request for change in exam centre will be entertained. Allotment of candidates to the Shift will be based on the options exercised and technical and administrative considerations. CUET 2026 admit cards will be issued for each shift based on the components opted by candidates. No request for change of date/shift will be entertained. Candidates will be alloted the CUET exam centre as per the preferences filled by them during the registartion process. Candidates are advised to fill the CUET application form details carefully. CUET exam is conducted in more than 200 exam centres across India.

Applicants must select CUET UG 2025 exam centre city from the dropdown, based on their permanent and contact address state/country. Candidates must not choose the state/country far from their permamnent address. Choose the CUET exam centre which is convenient to reach on time.

Q:   Is CUET exam registration open?
A: 

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 registration has commenced at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA released the CUET 2026 notification on January 03. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET registration 2026 process has commenced online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2026 exam must ensure that complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling out the application form, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.

Q:   When will CUET application form correction window open?
A: 

The CUET UG 2026 application form correction window will open tentatively in last week of March at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who will submit their CUET application form and wish to edit the details entered the details will be able to do so within the stipulated time. Important Guidelines for CUET Exam Centre 2026

Test takers must follow the below guidelines at CUET exam centre 2026:

  • Carry CUET admit cards to exam centre. Without hall ticket, applicant will not be allowed to appear for exam. 
  • Carry valid identity proof such as Aadhaar Card/voter id/driving licence. 
  • Reach allotted exam centre at least half an hour before scheduled time. 
  • Students appearing for exam are not allowed to carry any electronic devices or paper.
  • The student should also not engage in unfair means.

Allowed Items at CUET 2026 Exam Centre

Following items will be allowed to be carried inside CUET 2026 exam centres:

    • CUET 2026 admit card
    • Valid photo identity card
    • Few copies of passport-size photographs
    • Transparent water bottle
    • 50 ml sanitiser bottle

Items Not Allowed at CUET 2026 Exam Centre

The following items or objects will not be allowed to be carried inside CUET 2026 exam centres.

  • Stationery items such as test-based material (written/printed), papers, notes, Pencil box, pouches, geometry box, pen, scale/ruler, eraser, etc.
  • Electronic devices such as calculators, cameras, electronic pens, scanners, etc.
  • Accessories such as bags, belts, caps, goggles, wallets, etc.

On release of the CUET intimation slip candidates can know the state where the CUET exam for the candidate will be conducted. CUET intimation slip and admit card are important documents for UG exam. CUET admit card has to be carried on the exam day. Whereras, intimation slip is released to inform candidates about the alloted city. CUET intimation slip mentions the below details:

  • Name of candidates
  • Exam city
  • Date of CUET UG subject exam
  • Shift of the CUET subject opted
  • Medium of the exam

The CUET Admit Card is the final document that is released by the NTA a few days before the exam. It contains all the information that is available on the CUET City Intimation Slip, along with the following additional information:

  • Name and address of the exam centre
  • Roll number
  • Admit card number
  • Photograph of the candidate

The CUET admit card is a must-have document for the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without the admit card.

Q:   If am appearing for multiple slots, will my CUET exam centre remain same for all exams?
A: 

Candidates may be allotted different CUET 2026 exam centres for different dates and slots. However, the city would most likely be the same. Candidates must check the exam centre details carefully in the admit card and appear in the correct CUET centre. Candidates will be issued the CUET intimation slip three to four days prior to the day of examination. On release of the CUET intimation slip, candidates can know the exam centre allotted and can make the preparations for travel accordingly.

Candidates must note that different admit card and intimation slip will be issued for each exam. Candidates cannot re-use the admit card of previous slot or session.

Q:   How is CUET exam centre allocated?
A: 

CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allotes exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical consideration.

While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select four cities of their choice. Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. In case there are very few candidates from a city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

CUET 2026 exam will be held in May-June 2026 in computer based mode over a month window. The exam will be held across more than 300 exam cities in India. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre on issuance of CUET intimation slip or CUET admit card.

Q:   When will NTA release the CUET city intimation slip?
A: 

NTA will release CUET 2026 city intimation slip online. Candidates who will complete the CUET application process by paying the requisite fee can log in with their username and password and download the slip to check the city where their CUET UG 2026 exam centre will be located.

CUET intimation slip mentions the date of examination, shift, subject/test papers and medium chosen by the candidate while filling the application form. City intimation slips are released subsequently for the exams scheduled on different dates. CUET city intimation slip is not an admit card. It is an advanced information about the allotment of city. Based on the city allotted, candidates will have to make the necessary arrangement for travel, accommodation, etc.

Q:   How many CUET exam centres can I choose?
A: 

Candidates can choose upto four exam cities of their choice while filling the CUET application form. NTA will try best to allot the city of examination to the candidates in the order of preference opted by them in their CUET 2026 application form. However, due to administrative/logistic reasons, a different city can be allotted to the candidates. Choice of CUET 2026 centre city will be limited to the State of Permanent Address or State of Present Address only. In case, there are very few candidates from a particular CUET exam centre city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

Candidates will have the oppurtunity to choose the exam city while filling the CUET application form 2026. Candidates must carefully choose the exam cities. No request for change in exam centre will be entertained once the admit cards are issued.

Q:   Can I add/delete the CUET exam centre preference in application form?
A: 

Yes, candidates can add/delete the CUET exam centre preference in the application form. Candidates can edit the exam centre details if they have not submitted the application form or during the correction window. Candidates can add upto two exam centre prefrence while filling the application form.

Q:   When should I register for CUET UG?
A: 

NTA will commence the CUET registrations 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in tentatively in first week of March. Candidates can fill the online CUET application form online on official website when released. Candidates will be able to enter the personal, educational and CUET subject details to appear for the exam. Candidates must pay the CUET application fee to complete the registration process. 

Q:   What is the last date for filling CUET application form?
A: 

National Testing Agency commenced CUET 2026 registration on January 03, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration is January 30, 2026 

Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

Q:   I had filled my CUET application form and submitted it, but my permanent address in my Aadhaar card is different. Is this an issue?
A: 

While filling the CUET application form, Aadhar card is used an identity proof and not for address proof. Candidates can choose to upload alternate document for verification process. If candidate has filled different address in CUET application form than what is mentioned in the Aadhar card won't create a problem. However, candidate is advised to update the Aadhar card details to avoid any problem.
