CUET PG Notification 2026 was released on December 14, 2025, by the National Testing Agency. The CUET PG 2026 application form was released on the same date, along with the launch of the exam website and information bulletin. The last date of application is January 14, 2026, till 11.50 PM

As per the latest NTA notification on CUET PG 2026, candidates can select up to four exam cities within their present and permanent address. Those who already submitted form can add cities in the correction window from January 18, 2026, to January 20, 2026.

The CUET PG exam dates 2026 will be scheduled tentatively between the first week of March 2026 to the fourth week of March 2026. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognised university, or are in the final year of graduation, are eligible to appear for the CUET PG examination.

  • Exam Overview: The CUET PG notification starts with the introduction of the exam, in terms of the exam conducting body, participating universities, and the mode of the exam.
  • Important Dates: The CUET PG notification document includes a table of important dates for events such as application, correction window, city intimation slip, admit card and exam dates. The dates for answer key and result will be announced later by NTA. 
  • Number of Papers and Medium: The CUET PG 2026 notification will include the total number of exam papers and the languages or mediums of the question papers. According to last year's notification, there were 157 papers across streams. The medium of the CUET PG question papers was bilingual, or English and Hindi. However, the Acharya subject question papers will be in Sanskrit. The Linguistics papers will be in the respective languages.

CUET PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

CUET PG 2026 is a postgraduate-level entrance exam. The eligibility criteria laid down by NTA can be checked below. 

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the subject they plan to opt for in the CUET PG exam. 
  • Those who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to appear for the exam, provided they obtain the degree within the stipulated date.
  • There is no age limit to appear for the exam.
  • The participating universities may have separate eligibility criteria, which must be complied with at the time of admission.

The National Testing Agency released the CUET PG 2026 notification on December 14, 2025. However, there has not been any change in terms of exam pattern, syllabus or application process. The total number of exam cities has decreased.

CUET PG 2026 Application Process and Fees

The CUET PG 2026 application process is being conducted in online mode. Students have to visit the official website to fill and submit the application form. The detailed method is given below. 

  • Visit the CUET PG exam website: First, visit the exam website and click on the Registration tab.
  • Complete Registration process: Complete the registration process by filling up the mandatory details and creating a password. 
  • Complete Application process: Once the CUET PG 2026 registration process is completed and the login credentials are generated, click on the Login tab to proceed towards the application form. The form will be divided into multiple sections, including personal and academic details, selection of exam paper, question paper medium and exam city choices. Students can choose up to four exam papers and cities in order of preference. 
  • Upload Documents: Applicants have to upload their scanned photograph, signature and PWD or Reservation Category Certificate, if applicable, in the given format and dimensions.
  • Pay the Application Fee: Lastly, the CUET PG application fee has to be paid. The amount depends on the candidate category, the number of papers selected and the exam centre location.

Q:   When will be CUET PG 2026 Application Form releasing?

CUET PG application form 2026 has been released on December 14, 2025 to provide admissions to postgraduate degree programs like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA, and other professional degrees like MBA, BEd, LLB, and LLM courses. The last date is January 14, 2026.

 Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form

Q:   How many subjects can be opted in CUET PG while filling the application form?
A: 

CUET PG 2026 examination will be scheduled in March 2026. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam can fill the online application form from December 14 to January 14, 2026. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

Before choosing the multiple subjects for the examination, candidates are advised to check the minimal education eligibility criteria for the particular course candidate has applied for. Also check the university specific subject criteria for the subject a candidate wants to appear for.
