NTA has announced the fee structure on the official website. As per the CUET 2023 fee structure, the application fees for both CUET UG 2023 and CUET PG 2023 have increased. Factors Impacting CUET 2023 Fee

The CUET fee structure varies based on a number of factors including candidate category, number of subjects and the country of exam city chosen. Let us take a look at each of the factors impacting the CUET UG and PG application fees.

  • Candidate category: The first and foremost criterion for deciding the CUET application fee is the candidate category. For the unreserved (UR) or Open/General category candidates, the fee would be higher than that of the reserved category candidates (SC, ST, EWS, PWD/Third Gender).

  • Number of subjects selected: Since CUET is a multidisciplinary entrance exam, candidates can opt for multiple subjects or papers. For CUET UG 2023, NTA has classified the application fee into three slabs, which include three, seven and 10 subjects. On the other hand, for the CUET PG, candidates were required to pay a particular fee for three subjects and an additional fee for each extra subject or paper chosen.

  • Centres Outside India: The CUET fee amount was higher for candidates selecting an exam city abroad. This category would be applicable for candidates belonging to NRI/OCI/Foreign Nationals category. This year, CUET UG exam centres was located in 24 cities outside India.

Procedure for CUET UG 2023 Application Fee Payment

Here comes the most important part of the CUET UG fees, the procedure to pay the application fee for CUET UG 2023. The step-by-step process to pay the CUET UG 2023 application fee is given below:

  • Candidates were required to fill the CUET UG 2023 application form.

  • In the next step, candidates were required to select the payment windows among State Bank of India, Canara Bank, ICICI Bank and Paytm.

  • Now, candidates were required to select the payment mode among Net Banking, Cards and UPI.

  • Candidates were supposed to enter the Card/Account Number or other mandatory details.

  • In the next step, candidates were supposed to submit the OTP.

  • Now, the payment process is complete.

Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, then the candidate may have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate/multiple payments.

You will receive a payment confirmation on your registered mobile number and email address. With this, the CUET UG 2023 application process will also be completed and an application confirmation will also be sent.

Originally, the last date for application and CUET UG 2023 fee payment was March 12, which was extended till March 30. The application correction window was available from April 1 to April 3.

CUET PG 2023 Fees

The CUET PG 2023 exam notification was announced by NTA on March 20. As per the information bulletin, the CUET PG 2023 fees have been increased for each category, including the fee for each additional paper. Similar to CUET UG, the fee for CUET PG also vary according to candidate category, number of subjects selected and exam city outside India.

CUET PG Fee Payment Process

The CUET PG application fee payment process is given below:

  • After completing the CUET PG application process, proceed to the payments tab.

  • Click on the check box of Online payment and click on the tab Proceed to Payment.

  • Select payment providers among SBI, Canara Bank and HDFC Bank.

  • Click on the Confirm tab.

  • Select the payment mode among Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking and UPI.

  • Enter the necessary details and OTP.

  • Upon completion of the payment, you will receive payment and application confirmation through SMS and email.

GST and other taxes as applicable by Govt. of India/ Bank are to be paid by the candidate.
