After completing BTech from BIHER, students are open to various opportunities. BTech graduates are hired across all industries owing to their diverse set of skills and knowledge base. Engineering and Technology go hand-in-hand and are the most indispensable asset of any nation. BTech graduates are the building blocks for manufacturing and production activities. The total fee of BTech ranges between INR 6 Lacs and INR 10 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates who have applied for BTech (lateral entry) need to pay a total fee ranging between INR 2.40 Lacs and INR 5.40 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee might includes components other than the tuition fee. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. The selection to BTech course will be based on BEEE score.  In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode. 

 BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BIHER offers BTech course in 16 specialisations, namely Aeronautical, Aerospace, Automobile, Civil, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechatronics Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Apart from the regular four-year BTech course, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry. BTech (LE) is also available in various specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, etc. However, one can also apply for lateral entry after completing the Diploma course. 

 Bharath University has concluded its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2022. The university recorded a 93% placement rate in the academic year 2021-2022. The Bharath University's highest package has been offered the best in 2023 in comparison to last two years. The highest package offered during the 2022 placement drive stood at INR 14 LPA. Earlier, the highest package during Bharath University placements 2021 was INR 10 LPA. Thus, a rise of 40% in the Bharath University the highest package was recorded in 2022 when compared with 2021. Bharath University allows direct admission to its open distance learning courses offered by BIHER online. Interested candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of their desired course and then apply to the programme through online or offline modes.

However, admission to BIHER regular courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for the predetermined BIHER admission process to secure a seat in their desired course.
