The college has very good environment, faculty members, and good placement training.

Placements: Above 50% of students got placed in placements about 1.5 LPA. Companies like Life Cell, Biogenesis, and Optumn offer placements. Roles like lab assistant, research scholar, and research assistants are offered in this type of course.

Infrastructure: The college has very good Wi-Fi and well-equipped labs with modern technology. Clean and good classrooms. Large library with a separate section of books according to the departments. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is actually average. Food is also average. I don't recommend staying in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was actually good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semesters are pretty difficult. Actually, questions are from deep inside the lecture, and the pass mark is about 35%.

Other: I chose this college for the availability of the course, and the best thing about the course is the hands-on training experience.

Placements: 75% of students get placed on campus placements. The highest package is 12 LPA and the average package offered is 8 LPA. 80% of students got paid internships in research companies. A research work is offered in this course.

Infrastructure: There is a well-developed infrastructure and a peaceful environment in the classrooms. Wi-Fi, labs, and library facilities are also available in the department. There are separate hostels for both girls and boys with good quality food and high security along with the camera facilities.

Faculty: Our college has well-trained, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable teachers. They provide a good quality of education to students. Semester exams are a little bit hard. The pass percentage is above 40%. They often make us visit the industries, labs, and research companies.

Absolutely good college and the fee management system is good.

Placements: Above 75% of students were granted placements in 2025. The highest package is 30 LPA. TCL company offers top jobs. 80% of students got internships in Biotechnology Private Limited. In 2024, 95% of students got placements in various companies like TCL, Amazon, Biotech, etc.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is there. It is a private sector college. We have an excellent library system and Wi-Fi enabled campus. In hostel, 3 sharing and 4 sharing rooms are available. We have good infrastructure with study chairs and cupboards. Canteen is also available. NCC academy holds the college. Basketball court is available and ground is also present in the college surroundings.

Faculty: All teachers on the campus are qualified and experienced. They teach very well. They are friendly with students and help them with projects. In biotechnology, three various courses are present like B. Tech industrial biotechnology, B. Tech biotechnology specialisation with genetic engineering, and B. Tech biotechnology specialisation with agriculture engineering. Semester exams are held as per government rules. The pass percentage is 90% of students were passed.

Other: I have chosen this course because of my passion. The best thing in this course is that we can do jobs in labs, food industries, and hospitals. Lab work would be improved because there we can learn many things as compared to class. Festival events will be held on our campus. Fest will be held by the department separately because of crowd pollution. Campus surroundings are neat and campus environment is peaceful. Hospital is present because it is a medical college.

Simply superb campus in Chennai.

Placements: 85% students get placed. The highest package is 75 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA and average is about 9 LPA. Approximately 85% students get internship in the selected companies. The highest role is of scientist.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure in the campus are simply good. We have good labs and library which contains very useful information. We have a Wi-Fi enabled campus and the best classrooms, fully loaded with smart features. Our college encourage us in sports.

Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and well trained in their fields. They are very helpful. They make us industry ready. Exams completely depend on you. If you work hard then you will get good marks, even though getting passing marks is not that much harder.

BIHER has the good environment, and it is good in all aspects.

Placements: We have a very good placement cell, and it is very useful for us. Lots of companies are visiting the campus to hire the students of our department. Most of the students got placed in the companies which visited the campus for placements. Companies like Biopharmacology, Land Life, Genetic Instrument Private Limited, and BioProcess visit the campus to hire the students of our department.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is provided in our college for students. Labs and classrooms are very neat and good. Instrument and chemicals of every lab are good and are useful for us to learn. The library in the college is very big which is having a lot of books. There are smart classrooms and smart computer lab. This is a ragging-free campus. Overall, our college is very neat and good.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good. The teaching level of faculty members is very good. The equipment and chemicals in all the labs are very good. PPTs are used for teaching. The teaching period is very good one.

Other: Every year, the national-level event named Symposium, Tamil Mandram, teachers day, women day, and sports day are organised in the college.

My experience in the college is good.

Placements: We are yet to experience the placements in the college. However, our seniors are well-placed in reputed companies, i.e., in both government and the private sector. The salary packages offered to placed students are quite reasonable, and it varies for every individual. Some companies like Nestle, Amazon, and Wipro also visited our college for placements.

Infrastructure: They take care of every facility of the student. They make sure that we have our basic needs in our department like labs, etc. We have nanoparticle labs, bio-informatics labs, the robotics lab, and gene cloning lab. We also have a huge library and a good canteen.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are from diverse backgrounds and are specialised in different fields. They are well-knowledgeable and are never hesitate to help us. They ensure that we are forward thinkers. They also make sure that our projects are relatable to the real-world.

Other: The national conference is organised in the college.

The review of BIHER in genetics engineering.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in the campus placements. Companies like Biopharmacology company, Genetic Instrument Private Limited, and X-Cod Life visit the campus to hire the students. Many students got placed in the companies which visited the campus. Placement cell in the college is useful for students.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is enabled with the free Wi-Fi facility. The library is very big as it has a lot of books. Labs have a lot of instruments, and there are chemicals in the labs. Smart class and computer labs are available in the college. Classrooms are very good, and this is a ragging free campus. There are lots of college buses in the college. The first-aid kit is available in the college.

Faculty: Staff members in our department are very good, and their behaviour with students is very good. Faculty members are very good at teaching. They use PPTs to teach us. In our department, there are good instruments, chemicals, etc. We learn many things in our department.
