STEP 1: Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra BTech Application Process

STEP 2: Selection of Candidates

Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
Admission into BIT Mesra is entrance-based. Candidates cannot take direct admission at BIT Mesra. The college accepts different national-level entrance exams such as: JEE Main, GATE, JAM, CAT, XAT, CMAT, CUET and more depending upon the course.

No, candidates cannot apply for BSc admission at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. BITCHEM written exam is already over for academic year 2026. Currently, interview rounds are still ongoing for BSc admissions. Thus, fresh applications are no longer being accepted by BIT Mesra.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra BSc course is not open for direct admission. Candidates need to appear in BITCHEM along with its following interview round to qualify for admissions. If a candidate chooses to exit BSc curriculum at BIT Mesra within one year, they are awarded a Certificate in their chosen specialisation. Candidates who pursue an additional year will be awarded a UG Diploma. After three years, candidates get a BSc degree while four years result in an honors degree

Yes, candidates who cancel their BSc admission at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra are refunded their fees paid. However, only a percentage of fees paid is refunded after INR 1,000 is deducted from final amount.
