No, you cannot take admission at Faculty of law, Calcutta university with CLAT score. This is because CLAT is an entrance test only for admission in National Law Universities in India. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) conduct entrance test which is WBCHSE entrance test, by which students can take admission at this Institute. Cutoffs will be released by the Institute according to the seats intake and applications. So, to take admissions at this Institute only this entrance test is to be qualified and students cannot use CLAT score to take admissions. 

No, students cannot join Faculty of law, Calcutta university directly without any entrance test for any course. Students need to qualify in the entrance test in order to get the admission. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education conduts entrance test which is  WBCHSE entrance  exams . Through this entrance exam, students can take admission. A cut off will be released according to the seats intake and applications. Seat intake for different courses is also different and cut off will also be different. So if any student wants to take admission he /she need to qualify in the entrance exams as well as in the cut off. 

The eligibility criteria for the Faculty of Law at Calcutta University, apart from national-level entrance exams, include the following:
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the best four subjects at the 10+2 level from a board recognized by the University of Calcutta. For SC/ST/persons with disabilities (disability 40% or more), a minimum of 40% marks in the best four subjects is required, excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE.

The Calcutta University highest package or the salary details for 2024 drive are yet to be released. However, the median package for the 2023 drive is disclosed in the NIRF report 2024. Yes, Calcutta University does offer BSc courses as general and honours courses for the duration of three years, divided into six semesters. The university offers BSc courses through the affiliated colleges and its campus. To get admission into the courses, applicants are required to complete their Class 12 from a Science stream with relevant subjects.
