No, for admission to Calcutta University CUET score is not required. The University either accepts its in-house entrance exam or national-level entrance exams such as CAT/MAT/WBJEE/JEE Main, etc.

Calcutta University is a public state University that is accredited with a Grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university offers over 150+ courses at both UG and PG levels in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Technology, and many more. It also offers Ph.D. Certificate and Diploma courses. Interestingly, Calcutta University has been ranked 12 under the University category by NIRF 2023.

MBA at Calcutta University offers MBA courses in full-time and part-time mode, the morning shift MBA courses are offered in full-time mode, two full academic years, which will include theoretical courses, project and dissertation work, divided into four semesters. Additionally,  evening shift MBA courses are offered in part-time mode, for three academic years, which will include theoretical courses, project, and dissertation work, divided into six semesters.

After filling out the MBA application form at the Univeristy of Hyderabad, candidates are required to pay the application fee, which varies according to the category of students. In the offline application process, candidates are required to submit the application form with Internet Banking Receipt, or Deposit Receipt of Money. The application fee is NR 1500 for General and INR 750 for SC/ST/PH candidates for West Bengal. 

Students who wish to enroll in Calcutta University's MBA programme must pass the CAT, MAT, XAT, or JEMAT entrance exams with a valid score. Following exam qualification, the GD and PI rounds are used for the final selection.

Calcutta University offers a full-time MBA in multiple specialisations. The university accepts admission to MBA courses through national-level entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ JEMAT, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The basic requirement for admission to MBA at Calcutta University is an aggregate of at least 50% in graduation. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 50% is not eligible to apply for MBA admission at the university. Such candidates can pursue an MBA at other colleges/universities. For admission to Calcutta University MBA course, students need to qualify either CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ JEMAT entrance exams with a valid score. After qualifying the exam, the final selection is done through the GD and PI rounds.

The university offers admission to different UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses in Management, Science, Arts, and Commerce, and many others.
