Chandigarh University is a decent place if you work hard.
Placements: They provide ample opportunities, as a lot of companies come, but you need to work on your own to grab them. Overall, a decent college if study well, then they provide you with great opportunities, and the sky is the limit, but otherwise you will feel that you wasted your time and the college is bad, but I believe the college is at par with most colleges that provide opportunities.
Infrastructure: Great facilities overall, some buildings might be old, but overall decent hostel. The mess food is iffy, sometimes good, sometimes not edible, but this is how it is with most places overall, they provide all the major facilities and a great experience.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are approachable, clear in explaining concepts, and conduct doubt sessions, etc. The university uses relatively modern teaching methods, labs/projects, presentations, etc., rather than only rote lectures.

Looking for the best university, here it is.
Placements: A good number of companies visit the campus for placement. Last year, around 350 companies for the CSE alone came here. The highest package is 1 crore per annum in the international one, and the domestic one is 55 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA. Also, the internship starts from the 5th semester.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, very clean with attached washrooms and a 4-seater room. It has 4 beds, 4 tables, chairs, AC, good water supply, and an electricity supply. Mess food is quite average, and the total fee is Rs. 92000. You can enjoy the events, and for sports, there is everything in it basketball, badminton, swimming, and many more. The classrooms have a projector.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. The teachers use the content provided on the LMS of the college along with the PPT. There is relatively strict marking in the college. 75% attendance is mandatory. The pass percentage is around 80%-85%.

CSE review for Chandigarh University.
Placements: The placements here are very good. Almost all big companies visit the campus for the placement. From the 6th sem, students become eligible for the placement. TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro visit the campus during the 7th sem for mass. The packages are generally 6 to 8LPA with a high of 40 to 50.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, the campus is lush green, and classes are Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel facilities are good except for the mess food. The food quality is just average. Rest, all the facilities are good. There are a few restrictions for the girls, but fewer for boys.
Faculty: The faculty here is mostly good. The teaching methods are old school, same PPT, reading along with theory materials. Recently, technical trainers have been introduced to provide the students with more practical knowledge. The exams are held thrice and are of easy to medium level.

It is worth it, go for it.
Placements: Placements are awesome. Students are provided direct reports of all on campus placements through our university management system. Both on campus and off campus placements are super good. We have a 97% placement rate in our college. A good CGPA and good skills are the way to go. Packages range from 3LPA to 50LPA.
Infrastructure: Meals are really good and healthy. I mean, you literally never fall sick. You stay very healthy and safe, and the food is actually very tasty. Hostel and mess registration can be done directly during admission formalities. There are numerous clubs at CU, ranging from each and every type of sport to each and every type of club. From literature to dance, tech, music, and whatnot. Find your best interest, and then join the club at the university.
Faculty: The faculty to student ratio is 1 60. Long class times and the availability of teachers well after the academic hours make it easy for students to reach out to the teachers. Extra help classes are also provided for struggling students, and anybody who wishes to gain a better clarity in that particular subject can join those classes and help themselves. The test system is divided into CA (continuous assessment), which is done to assess the students understanding capability of a particular topic, Mid Term Test, and End Term Test.
