B.Sc. in Physical Science (Computer Science) - Batch of 2027

Great exposure and campus life.
Placements: No DU college that offers the B.Sc. Physical Science course has placements. Also, B.Sc. courses are not considered for placements, so don't come with the mindset that you will get placed. The best job that you can get is in a sales role. For B.Sc. students, it offers great prospects for research and master's degrees.
Infrastructure: Hansraj is considered one of the best colleges for its B.Sc. courses because of the infrastructure and facilities it offers. Labs are fully equipped with good equipment. Overall, the college infrastructure is one of the best in DU. Wi-Fi is not offered throughout the campus, but the library has Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you are respectful. Most of the teachers are very focused on teaching and are very helpful. It is really easy if you want to pass the exams or get an average score, although getting a 9+ CGPA can be difficult and is achieved by only a few. The curriculum is not that difficult. You can get good marks easily if you attend regular classes.
Other: I didn't prioritize the course but the college because of the exposure you get in a North Campus college. You meet a diverse and amazing crowd that motivates you and improves your overall personality. North Campus has the best campus life. The only con at Hansraj College is that its own fest is not good. The administration closes the event at 5 PM, whereas other college fests are allowed to continue late into the night.

Reality of Hansraj College.
Placements: Hansraj College of UOD is known for some very good placement options in different sectors. The best recruiters include Bain, D.E. Shaw, Big 4, GT, etc. It recruits students from sectors like consulting, finance, accountancy, audit, and HR as well. It has a good average and median salary.
Infrastructure: It has excellent infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, labs, washrooms, etc. It is one of the colleges in DU that has AC in every room. The campus also provides good infrastructure for sports and ECA. It includes sports such as football, basketball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Faculty is highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have good teaching quality and a focus on concept understanding. The curriculum is well-structured and more focused on real-life applications. Teachers themselves are very experienced with a good background.
Other: It is the second-best college for B.Com (Hons) at University of Delhi. It has good teachers, a good campus, good placements, and overall a good college with good people in it.

Really good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The average package is approximately 9 LPA. The highest package is 25 LPA. Major hiring is made for consulting and finance. Top recruiters include Bain, D.E. Shaw, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. The placement cell of the college works quite actively.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. The college has air-conditioned classrooms along with various labs. The canteen provides good food at affordable prices. Hostels for boys and girls are being constructed. There is a badminton hall with table tennis tables. The sports ground has facilities for playing volleyball, basketball, and football. The most famous part of the college is the LP Area.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable and qualified. However, the course curriculum is not very relevant for current needs. It provides only a basic education and requires quite a few more skills, as well as certificate courses, to actually get students industry-ready. Semester exam results are generally good.

Decent college, with decent infrastructure.
Placements: They don't have a proper placement system. They just have a placement cell that holds an annual event for placements and internships. The companies depend on how the placement cell is. Rest, I would recommend not depending on the college placement and looking for internships and courses yourself.
Infrastructure: Over the course of 3 years, the infrastructure has not been at its best. For the whole 3 years, they just had construction going on and dust everywhere. But they are trying to be better. The current infrastructure is bearable. The classes are a bit small, and some do not have working air conditioning.
Faculty: Faculty and teachers are decent. I mean, some teachers are rude and arrogant. Every college has that. The rest of the faculty is good and communicates well. But, like all government officials, they also care less about their job, so you have to initiate all the work.
Other: Annual fests are not that good, but society events are good, and some of the societies are genuinely good. I mean, after all, the degree will be from Delhi University and not your college name.

Good infrastructure, connectivity, and cultural alignment.
Placements: 60–70% of students get placements in our college. The average package is approximately 8 LPA for a B.Com (Hons) graduate, and last year the highest package offered was 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bain, Accenture, and Deloitte. The top role offered is Junior/Associate Consultant.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure. There is a fully air-conditioned library with Wi-Fi facility as well, which remains open until 5 pm every day. There are adequate labs, at least one for each science field department. All classes also have AC and are very well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable. They guide and support us at every step, especially during term papers, research paper work, etc. The curriculum, though, is a little outdated and needs serious revision to bring it up to par with industry standards and incorporate the practical skills expected of students. The semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage in theory papers is 40%.
Other: B.Com (Hons) is one of the most preferred courses due to its high placement rates. DU is particularly known for it. The fest was conducted earlier this year in April, so I would say the campus remains very lively during the semester. Connectivity is also a plus point about our college.

B.A. in Economics and Geography - Batch of 2028
Offered by Miranda House, University of Delhi

3.0Placements5.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Review of B.A. program (Geography and Economics) course at Miranda House.
Placements: About my B.A. course, the placement varies because most companies come for roles in marketing, sales, and management. All the courses are eligible. However, students mostly pursue higher studies or competitive exam preparation. The highest package is 24 LPA from top companies like McKinsey and ICICI Bank. The average package is 19–21.5 LPA. The probability of getting a placement completely depends on your skill set, not the course.
Infrastructure: Some places have good Wi-Fi, but we don't have a consistent Wi-Fi connection on the campus. You can get most of the books in the MH Library, which are mostly of the best quality. I am not a hosteller, but I have heard from my friends that the infrastructure, medical facilities, common rooms, and even the counselling room are good at the MH Hostel.
Faculty: North Campus colleges have a mixed basket of faculty members. With respect to my departments, Geography and Economics, the faculty members are well-qualified and have a good research background from JNU, international universities, etc. Collectively, both of these departments are very strict in their proceedings. The course curriculum at Delhi University has nothing to do with the college, but it is set by University. In my personal opinion, the curriculum is good, but it doesn't make us industry-ready. Semester exams are also a part of University, not any particular college, and the level of exams is decent. The Geography and Economics departments are very supportive and approachable.
Other: B.A. program is a nice course. You get to study two subjects simultaneously. But this advantage is lowered with the introduction of minor subjects for Honors students under NEP. I wish for more practical insights and field visits in my course.
