Q:   Why to choose Delhi University?
2thumbs up
A:

Below are the reasons to choose Delhi University:

  • Delhi University, Delhi has been ranked 5th by the NIRF Ranking 2025 under the 'University' category.
  • The Delhi University placements 2026 are still ongoing. However, some colleges have released its placement details recorded in 2026. In the phase 1 of its placements SRCC placed 1,095 students.
  • As of now the the highest & average package offered during SRCC placements 2026 was INR 36.25 LPA & INR 13.79 LPA,  respectively.
  • DU has established strategic ties with universities across the globe, like the University of Leeds in the UK, etc.
Q:   How is DU ranked for BA LLB?
A:

Faculty of Law,  University of Delhi is considered among the premier institutes in the country for law programmes. The institute was ranked 9 among all Law Institutes in India by NIRF in 2025. It also attained rank 7 by IIRF in 2025.

Q:   What is the fee refund policy of Faculty of Law, DU?
A:

Fee refund policy of Faculty of Law, DU is as follows:

  • If a student withdraws admission before the last date of admission, full refund of fee with a deduction of INR 5,000 is given to the student. Refunds are initiated after admissions close and processed within 3 months to the original payment source.
  • No refunds are given for withdrawals made after the last date.
  • Admission Fee is not refunded if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage.
  • Registration fee and withdrawal fee are non-refundable in any case.
Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
2thumbs up
A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: Most students pursue higher studies, mostly in research. Some of the students are hired by Google, Flutter, etc. Some of them go for corporate jobs, and some of them go for government exams for government jobs. Top recruiting companies are Google, Zomato, etc. I don't know much about the package. The top roles offered in my course are software developer, software engineer, ethical hacker, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in the college are Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs, AC classrooms, library, auditorium, amphitheatre, and gym. Sports facilities are also available. Hostel facilities in the college are both AC and non-AC, both types of rooms are available. Food in the hostel mess is good. The college also has a canteen, but the prices in the canteen are a little higher in comparison to other DU colleges. Medical facilities and sports and games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very satisfactory. The course curriculum is relevant to the industrial level, like industry-ready needs. The college exams are not difficult, as the teachers prepare us well from the start of the semester.

It is a great college for students with a science background.
Placements: Even though there is no placement cell in the college, students get good placements and job roles at high-profile companies through the support and efforts of the teachers. Some of the professors organize special interaction sessions for students regarding placements and job roles. They also help with CV building, and their guidance is excellent. They always try to help.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and has good facilities. There is no hostel in the college. So students from distant places have to arrange a PG or flat on their own. Classrooms, labs, and library are well maintained. Every classroom and the library have fully functional fans. The equipment is a bit old. But it is replaced or repaired according to students' needs. Overall, the whole college has good infrastructure and has an open, spacious place, making a good visual of the college infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers and staff members are really helpful and highly knowledgeable. They always put in a good effort for students. As the college focuses on applied science, it prepares students to become industry-ready. The exams are conducted fairly, and good examination practices are followed.
Other: The college is good. Just because it is an off-campus college of Delhi University does not make it worthless. It is genuinely a good college. The fests, events, and extracurricular activities are great. The crowd is also good, and students can enjoy their college life with a decent campus environment.

BMS review of SRCASW.
Placements: I am currently in my BMS course and recently completed my first year. Around 40–50% of students get placed through the college, as far as I know. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Safe, Amul, and others. The college does not provide internships. Students get them through their own skills. The top roles offered in this course are HR, Marketing, Sales, Business Analyst, and others.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the college except for the computers in labs. Labs are decent. The classrooms do not have AC. The hostels are also decent. According to the hostel students, the food quality is good. There is no proper place for sports. The food quality in the canteen is okay, but there is no proper seating arrangement.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good at teaching. Some teachers just read from the notes or books and finish the class. Semester exams are of a moderate level and are not very difficult. If you study properly, you can pass easily. You only fail if you leave the answer sheet empty.

Review of my college IPH (Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for People with disabilities).
Placements: So I am a BOT pursuing student and our college has a great position in their fields. The package depends on the student's skills and knowledge and earlier performance. Last year the starting package was around Rs. 50,000- Rs. 55,000 per month. Mainly hospitals, NGOs, and companies come for placement. The placement for BOT is the highest in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college is small and many things are underground. It has a cute small campus. The canteen is present for hostlers only and the size of the hostel is small too. Not all students get a hostel and only female students can get a hostel. There are no boys hostels. We have an anatomy lab, physiology lab, and the study is great. We do have college activities and you will have fun in this college. As the college campus is not huge you have good interaction with seniors.
Faculty: Our faculty are so good mainly in anatomy and physiology. They teach us in a good way. We have exams in terms of internals and final exams. The problem is the curriculum which our college always provides us late. The difficulty of the semester depends on your preparation.
Other: I chose BOT because I felt like I could do this job and treat people. I wish people knew more about this course and there should be an option for our course too.

Zero placement, still it's a gem.
Placements: No placements are available, but faculty is very educated. Teachers have good contacts. It can help students get paid internship opportunities at well-known companies. In college, there are many skill development clubs that help in sharpening students’ skills.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in the college, and AC is available only in the computer department. Classrooms are good enough. The library is also good. There is no hostel facility, so students have to take PG or flats on their own. There is a good sports culture, including two badminton courts, one basketball court, and one volleyball court. Labs are very good and have all the required equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and have contacts for good internship opportunities. They provide SEC for DNA isolation. It is an industry-ready technique. Semester exams are as difficult as those at other DU colleges.
