IPU BBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) or IPU offers a full-time BBA course covering several specialisations at the undergraduate level. This programme is offered by its affiliated colleges for a three-year duration/ integrated course spread in a semester pattern. IPU BBA admission to the UG-level course at IPU is entrance-based. A few of the affiliated colleges of GGSIPU also offer a BBA programme in the second (evening shift).

The IP University admission process for BBA is entrance-based. The decision of admission is made based on the students' achieved score in the IPU CET/CUET exams. Apart from this, it is also very important that the student satisfies the course-wise eligibility requirements. The process is further as follows:
1: IPU BBA Application Process 2026
The admission process for IP University begins with the registration process. Students seeking admission to BBA need to complete the IPU CET application process. The -wise IP University application process is mentioned below:
1.1: Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab, and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drop-down menu.
1.2: Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration of the application process.
1.3: Select BBA from the programme drop-down menu and register with the student's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses because BBA comes under the 'CET' category courses.

A notification regarding the counselling process through CUET is released when vacant seats are left after all rounds of counselling. Based on details mentioned in the IPU brochure, the IPU CUET counselling procedure could be in the following manner:
STEP 1: Counselling Registeration
Candidates have to register (could be online/offline) for counselling. Details such as the aspirant name, programme code and other details have to be provided during registration. The registration fee is INR 1,500.
STEP 2: Login & Enrol
Login with the ID and password generated during registration to fill out the application. The IPU counselling processing fee is INR 1,000, which has to be paid during the enrolment for participation in the counselling procedure after registration. Fill in the details as asked and take a printout of the form and fee receipt. Document verification is carried out in online mode based on information provided by the candidate during enrolment.
STEP 3: Choice Filling/Preference Sheet
The preference sheet is available on the GGSIPU brochure. For online mode, candidates will have to visit the university's official website. It must be noted that the preference sheet is valid for only one counselling round. Hence, for each round, a new preference sheet must be filled out for each counselling round.
STEP 4: Seat Allocation
After choice filling, seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit, respective category and region. Candidates can be asked to freeze the seat by paying a sum of fee.
IPU CET Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to various courses, like BCom (Hons), BCA, BBA, BTech, BArch, etc., in various specialisations. Candidates need to appear for the IPU CET entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA. Yes, IP University offer a three-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course. Over 30 IPU-affiliated colleges offer the UG course. Admission to the full-time course is entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission need to take the IPU CET entrance exam. The institute also admits candidates based on CUET-UG scores for the vacant seats. Candidates shortlisted based on entrance test scores have to participate in the counselling for seat allotment.
For admission to BBA course in any of the IPU-affiliated colleges, aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible, candidate must be a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate. Moreover, candidate shall have studied English (core/ elective/ functional) as a mandatory subject in Class 12. For verification purposes, the aspirants also have to present the pass certificate and other documents during form filling and at the time of admission confirmation.
The IPU CET exam dates are announced by the exam conducting authority. The CET exam will be conducted for various courses from April 2026 to May 2026.
Yes, GGSIPU is good in terms of placements. GGSIPU placement report for 2025 is yet to be released. However, as per the overall NIRF 2025 data, the median package offered UG-4 Year was INR 8.25 LPA. The median package offered to the UG 5-year was INR 8.39 LPA. While the median packages offered to the PG 1-Year and PG 2-Year students were INR 5.35 LPA and INR 6.95 LPA, respectively.

Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.
To get admission to MD course at GGSIPU, candidate must have attained a valid rank in NEET PG. If you belong to the General AI category, then you can get admission to the college if your rank is below 60874. The last round closing rak=nks for different MD specialisations varied between 25 and 60874.

To get IPU (main campus- USLLS and VIPS) you need to have a total score of atleast 470 out of 650. And admission in IPU through cuet happens only after the CLAT rounds are over, so you must wait till the spot rounds.
