IIT Bombay offers a BS or Bachelor of Science (four-year) course in three specialisations. Admission to BS is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. Candidates are shortlisted based on scores secured in the entrance test and called for JoSAA counselling. Yes, IIT Bombay offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to UG students. It is awarded to a maximum of 25% of sanctioned intake. For Dual degree, it is available only up to fourth year.
Merit Criterion: For new entrants of BDes their UCEED Rank, will be the criterion. In subsequent years, the criterion will be their academic performance during the preceding academic year.

Admission to the BS programme is based on JEE Main, JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates are admitted to the course based on performance in the counselling. The various processes involved in JoSAA 2026 counselling are registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and online reporting. JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech courses are offered by the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. JoSAA counselling 2026 will be conducted online in five rounds. Qualified candidates of JEE Main will be eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, while students who qualify for JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission to IITs.
IIT Bombay offers CSE in both BTech and MTech programme. As the question does not mentions the course, the answer talks about both the course. Yes, students from all the streams can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore. They can fill the Joint seat allocation form if they have cleared the UCEED 2026 Entrance Exam.

UCEED 2026 counselling will be conducted by IIT Bombay. The counselling process will have five rounds.
UCEED 2026 Joint Admission Process will not have any spot rounds. If there are any spot counselling rounds, it will be notified.

No, IIT Bombay will not send the hard copies of CEED 2026 Scorecard. The scorecard of CEED will be issued only in online mode. The candidate has to download it from the CEED admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the scorecard, log in by entering your email id and password.
