International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore accepts GATE scores, followed by the GATE Counselling process for admission to the MTech course. GATE COAP Round 1 cutyoff has been released for IIIT Bangalore. As per the cutoff list, CSE was the most competitive course with a closing rank of 591 for the General AII India category students. So, considering the latest cutoff data, candidates having a score of 150 can not get into IIIT Bangalore for M.Tech admission.  

To get admission at IIIT Bangalore for M.Tech specialisations, the last round closing ranks were released for M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The cutoff was released for different categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, the cutoff for M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was 591 and for M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, it was 504. For candidates belonging to other categories, the cutoff was almost same as that of the General AI category. 

The technology institute offers four M.Tech courses. IIIT Bangalore offers two-year M.Tech courses in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering specialisation. Moreover, two five-year integrated M.Tech courses are offered in the same specialisation. The fee and seat intake for all the courses vary. Admission to the M.Tech (two-year) programmes is based on merit in the GATE exam followed by counselling.

IIIT Bangalore offers a two-year full-time M.Tech course at the postgraduate level. Admission to the PG course is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), followed by a counselling process. Candidates seeking admission shall check out the eligibility criteria before applying. Currently, the applications are closed for all the courses. International Institute of Information Technology usually releases the application form in March. The application deadline differs with the course. Aspirants have to apply online on the official website of the institute for admission. Candidates also need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 to apply for a course at IIIT Bangalore.

International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore offers courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels in Engineering and Science streams. The institute offers BTech and Integrated BTech + MTech at the UG level and MSc and MTech at the PG level. Besides, the institute also offers diploma courses. Candidates have to complete a minimum of Class 12 to apply for any of the UG courses and graduation for PG programmes.

Candidates seeking admission to an IIITB PG Diploma course shall hold a valid Bachelor's or an equivalent degree in science/engineering/business administration/commerce/mathematics/computer applications or a Master’s degree in mathematics/statistics/commerce with at least 50% aggregate. Moreover, an aspirant should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised university. The degree course mark sheets along with other documents have to be presented for verification purposes.
