Jadavpur University maintains a very strict policy of reservations, where 90% of the total engineering seats are reserved for students who hold a domicile certificate of West Bengal. Students who have started preparing during their BCA can easily prepare for WB JECA in 4 months considering the topics of exam syllabus have already been studied in BCA.
WB JECA preparation is most effective with BCA as almost 90-95 percent topics are similar in both exams. This way students can easily complete the entire WB JECA syllabus as well as syllabus of BCA. After the graduation exams, students get 2-3 month where they can focus entirely on WB JECA.
Students who have started late for the WB JECA exam can make a 6-month plan where in the first three months they have to focus on revising the syllabus studied in BCA. In the next two months’ focus on solving questions of WB JECA and analyzing the mistakes being made, if any. The last one month should be focused on solving mock tests and WB JECA previous year question papers.
