    The college has very good infrastructure and resources.
    Placements: I am from the 2022-2024 batch. 60% of students are placed, and the highest package is Rs. 50,000, and the lowest package is Rs. 10,000. Placements are mostly in the government and private teaching sectors. Around 50% of students get jobs from internships in schools and colleges. The top role offered by our course focuses on good teaching ability.
    Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our department are very good. The whole department and campus have free Wi-Fi. Classrooms, library, and computer labs are also very modern. Hostel facilities are very good, with rooms for study, food services, and a canteen available. Every sports instrument is available, with a good playground.
    Faculty: Our department has very good and helpful teachers. The teaching quality is very scientific. The curriculum is also very good because our curriculum is developed by our own department teacher. Semester exams are very easy, and the passing marks are only 35%.
    Other: My Course is M.A. in Education, and it is the best department in the whole of West Bengal. It is a multidisciplinary course, which is why I chose it. Jadavpur University has a very good campus with a good environment, playground, and OAT. The placement percentage is very good.

    Jadavpur University where dream meets the reality.
    Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed during or after the course. The average package is INR 5 LPA, which can go up to INR 7-8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Intellipaat, and SEO ORB Digital Solutions have recently offered internships with stipends ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 40,000 per month. The roles include Digital Marketing Head, Content Writer, and Business Development Head.
    Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with departmental libraries, Wi-Fi access in all corners, laboratories, air-conditioned classrooms, and projectors. There are three boys' hostels and two girls' hostels on campus, with affordable fees of INR 5,000 per month, including food. The quality of the food is moderately good. A playground, a basketball court, and proximity to KPC Hospital (1 km away) add to the convenience.
    Faculty: Each semester consists of four papers, each worth 50 marks. Internal assessments contribute 20 marks, while 30 marks are for the main semester exam. Internal assessments are split into two exams of 10 marks each, making a total of eight internal assessments per semester. If a student misses an internal exam, they can appear for a supplementary assessment conducted after all internals. The passing mark is 20 out of 50.
    Other: Studying literature at Jadavpur University helps students view the world subjectively and from multiple dimensions. The university organizes numerous fests and cultural events throughout the year, including IBTIDA and AFSU-SFSU-FETSU Sanskriti, providing a vibrant and dynamic campus life.

    Jadavpur University Review.
    Placements: While Jadavpur University boasts a highly active placement cell for its engineering faculty, the same cannot be said for its arts faculty, where the placement cell seems to be less active and has only attracted visits from a few media companies. As a student with a keen interest in academics, I opted to pursue higher studies elsewhere, benefiting greatly from the training provided by Jadavpur University. Although I am not familiar with the employment outcomes for students who secured jobs or internships through university placement, the success of the engineering faculty at Jadavpur University speaks volumes about its strong placement records.
    Infrastructure: As a publicly funded academic institution, Jadavpur University excels at providing its students with top-notch infrastructure. The campus boasts well-equipped classrooms, comprehensive medical facilities, sports amenities like basketball courts and football grounds, a centrally located library, and specialized departmental libraries tailored to students' diverse academic interests. Canteens serve good-quality food, and hostel accommodations are satisfactory. The expansive campus is adorned with ample greenery and water bodies, offering not just visual appeal but also fresh air. It's important to note that being a public institution subsidized by the government, students enjoy these facilities at the minimum tuition rate.
    Faculty: While I can't speak for Jadavpur University as a whole, I can vouch for the professors in my department, history, who were not only highly supportive and qualified but also fostered an environment of operation. Our classes comprise both lectures and interactive sessions, encouraging students to pursue their passions. Jadavpur instills in students a sense of rationality, empowering them to challenge conformity and injustice. However, frequent state intervention has occasionally impacted the academic atmosphere and curriculum, albeit mainly in administrative areas, which directly affect students.

    Jadavpur University is good for education and freedom.
    Placements: If you are an engineering student, you will get a job after completing your study. But for Arts students, the situation is much more difficult. No other company except some print media house will going to offer you something. You have to depend on yourself.
    Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure and atmosphere are excellent at Jadavpur University. It is a five-star university according to infrastructure. So, you will be able to do classes in an air-conditioned classroom. Hostels are also good. You will find a good atmosphere there.
    Faculty: There has a huge number of faculty members for every department, and they are highly qualified. The syllabus of courses is excellent, and it will help you to crack your upcoming examinations. There has a semester system examination, and you will be able to appear easily.
    Other: There are several reasons for obtaining this course. First of all, I like literature since my childhood more than other subjects, and I found it more suitable for me. Although our department is good enough, it still needs some more faculty. Nothing more to say about the campus. The most powerful things it has that its freedom and free atmosphere. There has a union for students. They will help you in every way. There have several festivals like fests, cultural events, and drama, and the campus has a vast green playground. You will be able to improve your game skill easily.

    Students can have the best days of life.
    Placements: The course fee is very reasonable and low. The admission procedure is very clear, and there is no backdoor policy. The semester fee is around Rs. 50-70 only, and the yearly fee is around Rs. 1,200 without a lab. There are good placement events every year, and a lot of students are hired by top media and advertising companies. There are very good internship opportunities.
    Infrastructure: Buildings are spacious, and classrooms are good, clean and air-conditioned. Classrooms have soundboxes, mic, proper lights, sufficient chairs and benches. There is a departmental library in every department and a central library as well. Labs have all the equipment, and free Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. There are 6-7 canteens that are fully loaded by students all day, and the food quality is good at a low price. Yearly sports events and tournaments happen.
    Faculty: Professors are very skilled and more like friends. They are very helpful about class and syllabus. There are several counsellors in many departments. Classes are very solid, and you can get your syllabus covered timely. Notes and recordings are also provided for special students. Semester exams are neither difficult nor easy. You have to show your skills of writing in literature. Extracurricular activities are very appreciable.
    Other: I have chosen this course because of the syllabus offered. You would not want to miss a single class. The Student-professor relationship is very healthy and amazing. Yearly, two fests happen, and they are the best in the whole city. Campus mass is very helpful and friendly. There is a very good democratic atmosphere. Elections happen every year, and the event is very clean and needed.

    I had a very good experience at Jadavpur University, where I pursued my post-graduation.
    Placements: Placements are quite good in our college if you consider the entire institute. It is one of the most reputed institutions in the country, and it produces some of the best talented students nationally. As far as our course is concerned, we got decent internships and placement opportunities.
    Infrastructure: Even though I do not stay in the hostel, I am sure that the hostel here is one of the best. The fee is extremely less, and the hostel is near to the main campus.
    Faculty: Our course, i.e., masters in economics, is a very comprehensive and specialised course for any student aspires to complete their post-graduation in economics. Faculty members for MA in economics at Jadavpur University are one of the finest. You get to learn very much from them not just from an academic perspective, but also our daily life lessons. The course curriculum is also top-notch, and the scope for econometrics which our course provides is one of the best in the country.
