MNIT Allahabad is highly rated for placement purposes, and that is true.

Placements: The number of students placed last year is around 80 out of 100. It is seen in the electrical branch in past years that most of the students crack software jobs. The highest package is above 60 LPA. The average package is 22 LPA. The top recruiting company is Microsoft. The internship rate is 2 to 3 students out of 100. The top roles are supervisors and coders.

Infrastructure: The facilities in our branch are moderate. The quality of food is very good, but the sports facilities and hostel facilities are not so good, but adjustable. The mess feels costly, but it is refundable according to food usage. There are enough canteens in the college, and one can easily select which canteen to choose. The first-year hostel is very good, but the second and third-year hostels are somewhat small.

Faculty: Some faculty members are helpful, while some are strict. The teaching quality of some professors is not good, but most of them are good. Professors work based on how you respond to them. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares us for every circumstance. Exams are moderate. Til now, the passing percentage is 90%.

Other: I choose this course because my rank allows me to get it. The best thing about my course is that it is to much relatable to daily life. we can apply it in our surroundings. There is not too much to improve in my course; it is okay. The annual fest is pretty good this year. The campus is good and the environment is friendly. One can join any club according to his/her willingness.

I have an amazing experience at MNIT.

Placements: This year 84.81% of students in my branch got placed. The highest salary package offered in my course is 71.14 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 20.36 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Oracle, etc., visit the college for placements. Around 80% of students got internships in companies like Zepto, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. The top roles offered are power system engineer, control system engineer, software developer, and full stack developer.

Infrastructure: Some facilities available in our department are air-conditioners in classrooms. There is a central library on campus. Facilities available in my hostel are study tables, chairs, and wardrobes. The mess provides 4 meals per day, i.e., breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. It has some canteens named Yamuna and Dewsis a cafe. There is a dispensary inside the campus which runs during the day and at night till 8 PM. Sports like hockey, lawn tennis, skating, cricket, etc., are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are PhD holders in their domain and very helpful to students. The course curriculum is relevant. It can make students industry-ready only when students have a genuine interest in their domain. Semester exams are not that hard, and they are of medium level. Almost all students pass the semester exams.

Other: There are two reasons why I chose this course. The first reason is the placement states of this course are outstanding, with a jaw-dropping average salary package of 20 LPA. The second reason is location. Prayagraj is closer to my hometown than other institutes. Things I wish that could be improved in this course are the infrastructure. The infrastructure of this college is poor compared to other colleges. Many events are held throughout the year including our cultural fest named Culrav-Avishkar, which is a cultural + technical fest.

Average infrastructure, good placements, monotonous college life.

Placements: Our college is known for its excellent placement record. In 2023, 79% of our students were placed. This year, the highest base pay offered was 25 lakhs, with an annual package of 50 lakhs. The lowest package offered was 8 lakhs. Out of 108 students in our branch, 77 secured internships at top companies, including Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. The top roles offered in our batch were software engineer and app developer.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is fast and available 24*7. The classrooms have AC, but only a few of them work. There are smart boards in the classrooms. The library is quite small, and during exam time, we have to study in our room because the library gets full. The mess food is average. There are no single rooms for girls. Boys get their single room in the third year. However, the washrooms and rooms are cleaned regularly. The college does not support or sponsor any games or cultural events. If we want to participate in any fest or sports event, we have to pay. The campus is too small, but it's pleasant with a lot of trees and good air, which works as a medicine during the evening. The college is quite silent, so it gives peace. The fests are good enough, but the rest of the cultural life and other events are below average because the college lacks funding for those.

Faculty: The teaching quality at my college is average. Most of the teachers in our department take class regularly, and 75% attendance is required to sit for exams. The professors are strict, but the semester exams are easy if you make notes and solve previous years' question papers wholeheartedly. About 99% of the students pass the exams because of labs and internal marks given by the professors based on our attendance and assignments. The teachers are well qualified but lack teaching skills. Some of them don't speak clearly, which makes it hard to understand them. However, they do put in the effort to teach.

Other: I'm studying electrical engineering at this college. The best thing about my course is that it's easy to score in electrical engineering compared to electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering. The professors give marks and pass most of the students, and the papers are not too hard. Scholarships are provided but only to backward section of society or to underprivileged class based on their family income. The college has strong alumni connection who funds and bring new companies every year. There are a lot of extra curricular activities going on but they are not that much big due to lack of funds. I think attendance criteria should be removed from our course because students want to prepare for placements and internship rather than going to classes.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of students are placed, with the highest package being 71 LPA from Google and Facebook. The coding culture is the best. Top roles include managerial positions. Classes help improve confidence and communication abilities. Seniors are helpful, and extracurricular activities are encouraged.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not so good, but the campus is. The mess is average. There is a badminton court and table tennis on campus. The canteen is good, and there is a shop with everything available. LAN connection is available in the hostel, and 24-hour medical service is provided. The library is large and well-stocked with books.

Faculty: Teachers are industry-ready, and the exams are hard. The passing percentage is high. Mock interviews and placements are conducted. The curriculum for the course is challenging, but the teachers are knowledgeable and provide the necessary resources.

Other: Events and fests are good.

Electrical engineering in MNNIT, 2024.

Placements: Summer internship opportunities are available to students in their third year of B. Tech. About 130 to 140 students are selected, mostly from the top three branches. For full-time employment, 200 to 300 companies offer an average of 15 lakhs per annum to final-year students. In addition, winter internship opportunities are available.

Infrastructure: The facilities are mediocre at best. The hostel food is really average, and the infrastructure for ventilation is currently under work. The classrooms are just enough to get by, and the labs are fine. As for the professors, they range from strict to usually easygoing.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are good, but some of the older professors are very demanding. Their expectations are high, and they can make the course very stressful. However, their knowledge is great, and the exams are actually quite easy. If we start studying two weeks before the exams, it should be fine.

Other: Electrical engineering at MNNIT Allahabad is a good choice because the workload is less than ECE. The fests are pretty average, but the connectivity is good.

Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2025 irrespective of their age, are also eligible. Note: List of qualifying examination(QE): i). The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. ii). Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. iii). Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy iv). Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. v). Hii, Congratulations for your percentage in board.See during my time board percentage were not added with AIEEE mraks for rank so the marks went upto 232 but since for you all board marks is added as well so the speculated marks in mains could be around 200 for a good rank to get admission into MNNI

Hii. For getting into MNNIT Allahabad you need to give jee mains and get 200+ marks in that.Further you need to have very good percentage in boards but if you are applying next year yhen board marks are being excluded from the rank process so you need to focus on mains and get marks around 231.
