Our college is an excellent option to join.

Placements: In our college, almost 95% of students are placed. Some students go for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA to 85 LPA. Our batch has a total of 45 students. Top recruiting companies like Rubrik, Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are SDE and UX designer.

Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. The quality of food in the mess is average. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. A pure vegetarian mess is available. The LAN connection is fast. There are multiple stadiums. The campus is huge.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. Almost all of them are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are average. The first year, like any NIT or IIT, has all subjects, irrespective of the branch.

Other: I chose this course because the college is a top NIT and the branch is new and has great scope in the future. Our college celebrates 4 to 5 festivals a year, like Innovations, NU, etc. The cultural fests are excellent.

Placements: NIT Rourkela's Industrial Design Department offers a 4-year undergraduate programme. The course covers product design, ergonomics, manufacturing, and design engineering. Each of the 8 semesters covers a different industrial design topic. The course includes seminars, workshops, and projects. NIT Rourkela Industrial Design placements are good. Wipro, TCS, Mahindra, Rubrik etc. Have hired NIT Rourkela Industrial Design graduates. Industrial Design graduates at NIT Rourkela earn about RS. 12 Lacs annually.

Infrastructure: NIT Rourkela has great courses and hostels. Structures: Well-equipped labs, classrooms, and lecture halls. Institutes LAN and internet computer centre. Its advanced digital library has journals, e-books, databases, and more. NIT Rourkela has a gym, tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, and many more for students. Accommodation: NIT Rourkela has good student hostels. Hostels get 24/7 water and electricity from the institute. Every hostel has a student common room and mess. Medical and student cafeteria. Sports and culture relax institute students.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. They are like friends to the students. The campus is a teacher-student-friendly campus. All the clubs are there like Music, Drama, Robotics etc. To enhance your curricular activities. For each semester there are 2 exams one is mid-semester and the final is end semester.

Other: Industrial Design is a 4-year full-time B.Tech at NIT Rourkela. Teaching product design and development. Faculty: NIT Rourkela's Industrial Design faculty includes product design, development, material Science, manufacturing engineering, and electronics experts. Curriculum: the NIT Rourkela Industrial design programme covers product design, digital product design, material Science, manufacturing processes and technology, user interface design, product design engineering, sustainability, design research, ergonomics, and product prototyping. Review of the Industrial Design course at NIT Rourkela.

Placements: Around 60 to 70% of students got placed. The average package is about 13.98 LPA. The highest package at my college is 62.44 LPA for the whole college. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, and Rubrik. Intensive opportunities are few for industrial design. Top roles offered are product design, manufacturing design, and ergonomics.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the classrooms, but we can access the internet through LAN cables present in our rooms. Classrooms are air-conditioned and have smart boards. There is a large central library with over 60,000 books and access to digital resources. Hostels are average, offering comfortable accommodation. Food is decent, with options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian people. A health center with 24X7 doctor is available, and pharmacy services are available.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-equipped. Some of them have earned their Ph.D. from top institutions like IITs. Some are also from international universities. Teaching quality is good. Teachers are quite knowledgeable and generally helpful. The curriculum is not highly relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a pass percentage of about 80 to 90%.

Placements: The course is good and if you are aiming for a branch in engineering that is related to creativity. Then this course is for you. I am an Industrial Design Student at the National institute Of Technology, Rourkela. Last year The highest package offered is an average of 8-9 LPA. Percentage to get an internship is less, yes you heard it right. I have not demotivated you but it, s True. You have to work hard for the chunk with the programming skills because it is the key to clearing the coding round.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. There are two Boys Hostel and one Girl Hostel for Freshies. The Wi-Fi connectivity is good. But during Classes, the internet connection is not provided to avoid absentees in the lectures. Labs are well structured and at NIT, there is a big main library Biju Patnaik Central Library. The Quality of food is good we have two canteens and each Hostel has a mess. We have a Nescafe which is the best place for chit-chat in the evening.

Faculty: The exam is competitive. And for this course, You have to maintain an 8.5 CGPA at least to grave a campus placement. Competition is not like what we saw in JEE Advanced but pretty good. Like you have to do all assignments and if not credit will be deducted. Faculty members are very good and teaching technique is nice.

I am averagely satisfied. As we are having online classes. So the satisfaction is a little low.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. About 60-70% of the students got placed in a very good company. Many students also got internships in companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, other design companies, etc. The companies are good. Although for internship we have to also try off camps.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college and hostel are awesome. The food served in the mess is also good. The playing area of the college is awesome. The department buildings are good. Our college has a huge area full of greenery which attracts us very much.

Faculty: Faculty members are cooperating. They try their best to help us. The syllabus can be changed a little. The exam facilities are also good. As I'm giving online exams. The course curriculum is relevant and it is good. The questions are quite hard but very good. The pass percentage is about 95%.

Other: NIT Rourkela is one of the best colleges in India. Placements here are also good. So I chose this college. It has the best fest and events.
