Our college has very good faculty members.

Placements: Around 4-5 students from our batch of 15 got internships recently. Approximately 11 LPA is the average salary package. Tata Motors and other big firms recruit. Firms on the basis of SGPA recruit in the last second year of the term and an internship is offered. These internships can also be used as a project/major in our curriculum.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent facilities, and everything is available. We have sports and circular activities there. The good thing is the swimming pool here. Cultural activities with music festivals and sports meets are also accompanied by night shows and motivational speeches.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are great. Professors help us in every situation. Things are quite difficult sometimes, but with the help of a professor, it is made easy. Approximately 99% of students have clear semesters, and there is hardly any backlog. Even companies do offer prior offer letters on the basis of internships.

Other: I got this course in GATE Counselling. This is an interdisciplinary course but has great opportunities. Here at NIT Rourkela, people have gotten a few good packages from recent companies, and this has led to growth in the average package. Fests and cultural activities are also quite frequent with sports. Scholarships are given from time to time.
