    No placement. Friendly faculty members.
Placements: There is no placement after the course completion. We need to find our own jobs. After the completion of the course, you will get a Pondicherry University Certificate. After this course, learn any other skills like GIS, Python, etc. It will be helpful. Experience is required for a high-earning job in this field. Start from the DDMA, and we get a job.
Infrastructure: There is less equipment, and some equipment does not work properly. The department has one smartboard and Wi-Fi connection. There is a common library for the college. The food was average. The mess is contract-based, every year, it changes. Inside, there is a hostel committee and a campus committee, which conduct programmes, etc. There is a small ground in the hostel for throwball, cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers are so friendly. Everything depends on the teacher's mood and the students' behavior. The syllabus now updated the teachers always try to put something new for students to teach. Everything is helpful, but something is outdated even though it is good.
Other: The students are from different places, so we can be friends with everyone. Soon it will improve language. Know about every culture, including Onam, Vishu, Durga Puja, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Diwali. There is a celebration and Anekaragam, it's so good, it's a programme conducted in this university. The campus is small, but it's good.

Nice college, I liked it and a little bit disappointed.
Placements: Our institute had a placement cell. If you had any doubts about placement, you could also visit the placement cell. From the second year onwards, placement cell will train you for placement. Top companies like Accenture, Cognizant, etc., often come to our institute. The highest package was 25 LPA, and the lowest package was around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: We had separate blocks for different courses and departments. We had 4 seminar halls, an auditorium, conference hall, and 3 libraries. There were bus facilities for students, canteen, bookshop, and emergency room. There were around 20-30 security members. I chose the park at MITS Chitoor near NPN block. Our institute had a library in NPN block, which was open 24X&. A class had a capacity of 80 students.
Faculty: Teachers were skilled and experienced. Very few of them were Ph.D. holders. They often use blackboard and PPT. They were always available for the students. For every 10-15 students, one faculty member was available although our classes run until 5.00 PM. Faculty members were available till 6.00 PM. Many faculty members were from other states who were highly qualified and hold M.Tech or Ph.D. Very few faculty members were very friendly and approachable.
Other: No one says that we were good in the company, every senior was sad and upset.

Absolutely satisfied with facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: A good percentage of students got placed in the M.Sc. Mathematics course because it was a popular course at the college. Some local companies came to offer placements and job opportunities to the students. They also provided good packages, around 10 to 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department facilities and infrastructure were superb because most needed facilities were provided to students. Also, if anyone had a personal choice for food, they could get it prepared in the canteen, which was a good point. The food was also very hygienic and clean.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and highly qualified in their subjects. They also provided daily practice question papers because I was in the Mathematics course. The course curriculum was ready and relevant to the industry. The exams were not very tough. I scored a 9 CGPA in the semester exams.
Other: The campus was good, but sometimes there was too much crowd, which made it uncomfortable.

    Environmental science at Pondicherry University.
Placements: Our class strength is 45, placements are very bad in the department, you can say no placements at all for our department. Roads in the university are bad, also the transportation in the university in the middle is also miserable but overall the university is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in the university. It's very aesthetic, lab facilities are available, but pigments are not appropriately maintained. Wi-Fi is available, but the speed is not good. The hostel is provided for everyone the facilities are good but the food quality is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. Most of the teachers have Ph.D. and they are on to research. Exams are conducted every semester. Exams are easy to score and the department helps with various competitive exams, and other national-level exams. It's the best place to increase knowledge.
Other: I want to explore the environment of science because it is a well-known field and Pondicherry University provides the best faculty members and study materials. Events are happening in the even semesters so many extracurricular activities are provided at the university.

Faculty members are great, and the teaching is good. The campus is under CCTV surveillance.
Placements: Campus selection was conducted by Zifo, Accenture, Federal Bank, and ESAF Bank. Applicants were required to have no arrears. They were selected after an aptitude test, group discussion, and interview. Out of 18 students from our class, 5 were selected for Zifo, 4 for Accenture, and 1 for Federal Bank, while the selection process for ESAF Bank was still ongoing.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities were average. The Department of Social Welfare ran a boys' hostel on the campus, and the best part was that free lodging and boarding were provided to EWS, OBC, and MBC students. The working women's hostel and women's hostel for SC/ST students were situated near the institution.
Faculty: If there was a need for improvement, it was to get as much practical work done as possible. Also, I kept in mind that not every student was the same.
Other: I have always given a high place to curiosity. So it would not be a big deal that I took this course. One thing you learn in life or a course is to never stop questioning.

PU‑CET (UG) has different papers for different subjects. Applicants must choose subjects based on the course they want. Each subject is a separate MCQ paper with its own marks. Your overall score is the total of the papers you attempt.
