Good for placement & curriculum is easy to score. You have to develop good skills in your free time.

Placements: Placements are mainly ranging from 3 to 5 LPA. Above that, according to your skills and knowledge, you will be placed. Placements start from the final year. According to your CGPA, if you are above a 9 CGPA, you have a great chance. All the best to you.

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi in classrooms in our college. Canteen food is reasonable, and no games can be played on campus. Actually, no playground is available. The hostel is expensive, starting from 1.8 lakhs per year. Even though there is no tasty food, you will never get it.

Faculty: No academic pressure is present on the campus. Sixty percent of the marks are internal, and 40 percent are external. Internals are filled with two mid exams and projects for ECE. It is easier to score marks than in other conventional colleges. The syllabus is pretty less than that of Anna University.

Other: It is not value for money.

SRM Ramapuram in a nutshell.

Placements: Most of my classmates got placed this year, which is a surprising case. Electronics and other core groups don't get placed as much as CSE. The highest package offered is 17 LPA. The lowest is 3.6 LPA by TCS. Internship certificates are compulsory.

Infrastructure: Labs are not very well-equipped and the few equipment they have, don't work. AC labs are non-existent for electronics. I heard the computer labs are decent. We never had a chance to try. I am a day scholar, so I can't speak for the hostelers.

Faculty: Teachers are always a hit or miss. Some are very passionate and easy to approach. They are understanding. They are the best part of coming to college. One female assistant lecturer in electronics is very hostile and is very racist. Most are doing it for the money.

Advantage of SRM Ramapuram campus: information hub, both fun and educational-oriented.

Placements: I saw in my senior batch there are around 180 students, and 124 of them are placed in companies in 3rd and 4th year (6th and 7th semester). This year, in my department, the highest salary is 26 Lacs. Since I'm in ECE, students are going to both service-based and product-based companies like PayPal, Flipkart, Hyundai, and Skoda.

Infrastructure: SRM Ramapuram campus is small in size, but it is maintained neatly. We have labs with all working equipment. We have separate PCs, but the library is small. However, we have an online library. Medical facilities are good because we have SRM Hospital and dental facilities on our college campus. Hostel food is good, with daily different types of snacks. Food is above average.

Faculty: Here in SRM, we have our own syllabus, and that is according to the industry requirement. Every 4 to 5 years, we have a syllabus change, and in between, they use to customize the syllabus too. Passing in SRM is really very easy. Getting 8.5 is practically possible, but we have to study.

Other: SRM colleges are interconnected. We can go and attend many workshops in our main campus. Every week, we have 3 to 4 events, and we can make a big network in SRM. In our college, there are many students from different states, and we can learn different languages.

I thought my course will be tough but the faculty members made me to handle it clear and easy.

Placements: Students who have nearly 10 CGPA will be placed in dream offers like 40 LPA. The minimum percentage is 3 to 4 LPA when students get placed. There are many big companies recruiting students from our college. 90% of the students are getting placed in good companies.

Infrastructure: There is an awesome infrastructure, like labs for different departments, a library, etc., and the hostel has non-AC and AC rooms, which we can decide on our own. Many students were there in the hostel, and the food provided inside was also good.

Faculty: The faculty members here are specifically trained teachers and very friendly in handling. The course curriculum is relevant for the students future. As compared to other colleges, the semester pressure is a little bit low here because of the course handling by the faculty members.

Other: I chose this college mainly for placements. I wish if the monthly exams they can keep little bit slow because monthly once there are keeping exams.

The satisfied review of my college.

Placements: Our college ensures up to 90% of placements. In our placements, it is assured for the students who maintain an 8 CGPA. The starting package is from 3 lakhs up to 40 lakhs, the highest package. There are many internships provided from the college side to the students.

Infrastructure: The facilities in our department are very well maintained. The classrooms are very sufficient in our college, the labs are fully centralized and air-conditioned, and the libraries are available with air-conditioned and free Wi-Fi facilities. Especially, the food in our canteen is not very expensive and worth the amount. The taste is better than at any other restaurant.

Faculty: The facilities in our department are very friendly and well-trained for lecturers and professors. The teaching qualities of the facilities are 10/10. The syllabus of our subjects is very relevant to our industry and the books are so good. There are not many difficulties in passing our semester exams; the pass percentage is 50% and the internal mark carries a 60% wait.

Other: Electronic and Communication engineering is the course I have chosen. The best thing about this course is that the placements are high-quality, and there are two ways: core and IT. There are so many extra curricular activities in our college like sports dance, etc. The campus crowd is high. And fantastic events are conducted by our college.

Review of Srm institute of Science and technology ramapuram.

Placements: Placement in the electronics and communication department was good last year. But this year it seems to be reduced. IT and CSC placements are higher than electronics and communication department placements. I hope next year the core company placement gets increased.

Infrastructure: Classroom labs are all pretty good. There is nothing to blame. Medical facilities are good. We have a newly built sports block. We have separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian canteens. And we have a flexible timetable. It's a bit lenient in college. Not so strict. The library facility is also very good.

Faculty: Course syllabuses are student-friendly. Our college has a pass percentage of 90. Internal marks are 60 and the semester exam mark is 40. It's quite easy to pass if we do well in our internal exams. In the internal exam, they also allot marks for assignments and surprise tests.

Good faculty, average infrastructure, and further developing infrastructure.

Placements: Most placements are done for students in the Computer Science and Engineering department. The highest number of recruits are from Cognizant, followed by TCS Ninja and Wipro, respectively. The highest ctc for the 2022 batch was INR 42.5 lpa in Amazon. The total number of recruitment offers made in 2022 was 1761.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is average at best. The campus is currently going through a renovation. The main block of the campus is mostly reserved for computer science and engineering students. There is a separate electrical block, but it accommodates biomedical students as well.

Faculty: The faculty is very qualified and knowledgeable, but they have some minor difficulties passing on this knowledge to the students. Each semester, three internal examinations are conducted, and there are practical exams as well. The semester exams are easy to score grades on because of practice from the three internal examinations.

Our college provides great industry exposure.

Placements: Placements are great. Our college also provides internships. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, CTS, and Hyundai. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 47 LPA.

Infrastructure: Laboratories are very good. The library is decent. Several books are available in the library. The food served in the canteen is good at affordable prices. There is a hospital on our campus. Mess is available. Hostel is also great.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. Few of them are doctorates. They interact with every student. The teaching quality is average. The pass criterion is 8 CGPA. Students are exposed to industry training.

Other: Many events are conducted in this college. DJ night is also organised on our campus.
