A quick review for SRMKTR.
Placements: My batch is AK2 and I really don't know about placements because this is my first year. I heard they give really good placements though. The highest I heard is 5.2 LPA. The top recruiting company I heard of is TCS. About internships in my class, we are only reaching 1st year so we have yet to know.
Infrastructure: The quality is above average compared to other private colleges. There is Wi-Fi, a library, and tons of other labs like semiconductor, electrical engineering, and many more available. The quality of food is really good considering other colleges. There is even an SRM hospital nearby and other sports and games are also available here.
Faculty: The teaching quality is above average also considering the faculty members are average only because it is not that good to be honest. The course for 1st year isn't really that relevant but the other years will make you industry-ready. That pass percentage is 80 to 85 percent. It isn't really that hard if you come to study.
Other: I personally chose this course because I have been really passionate about ethical hacking and computers since my childhood. My suggestion would be to instead of writing down the coding in a notebook, make it a more interactive session so we could learn faster and it would be more efficient. There are a lot of games and events here especially a huge one called Milan where celebrities would come and perform.

Overall, I am satisfied.
Placements: I think pretty much all good performing students get placed in our college who survive without any standing arrears. The highest place was 60 LPA, I guess, and the lowest may be in mass recruiting in TCS or Wipro, maybe 3 LPA, which is expected for below-average students. Those who are placed for 60 LPA are exceptionally good in the area. It depends on the performance of the students, as SRM almost brings 600-700 companies a year. Almost 30% got internships on their own, and the college also provides, but not to this extent.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are really good in SRM. Infrastructure-wise, it's a 10/10. They keep on renovating and building new buildings. At least the classroom for CSE is 10/10, as they even provide escalators in the building and fully air-conditioned classrooms. The hostel is also good, and hygiene is properly maintained. Medical facilities are also good as they have a medical college and hospital within the campus, and SRM students get a discount of 50% in the medical college. As I know, many of my friends are into sports; it's not that good, and I am not into any sports, that's why.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified but not that knowledgeable or keen about teaching, I feel personally. You will have to work on yourself to make yourself industry-ready. Semester examinations are really easy, and the pass percentage is really high, so maintaining your CGPA matters the most rather than just passing the exams. Unlike other colleges, SRM has very easy exams.
Other: I opted for this course because I love cybersecurity. Faculty should be improved. Event and fest freedom is the best part of SRM.

It is pretty decent, with average placements.
Placements: Placements are average. Companies take students in one go, but if we have proper grades and CGPA, we will be eligible to sit for the higher-end companies that indeed offer good packages. After the minimum criteria, it is up to students to showcase their skills.
Infrastructure: College buildings are well-maintained with centralized ACs for computer science courses. Hostels have different options such as two-sharing, three-sharing, or even dorms with attached washrooms or common washrooms. The mess has decent food and I have yet to see any food poisoning because of the mess food.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are good except a few. They have a decent knowledge, especially the research-based teachers. I have seen a bit of favoritism in a few faculty members, but overall, it's not that common. The curriculum is relevant but there is not a great focus on the actual subject.

Good University and Infrastructure
Placements: About 80 percent of students get placed with good salary packages. The highest package offered is 1.2 crores, and the average is 7-8 lakhs. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Visit our campus. 90% will get internships. Top job roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus is a bit old. Many books are available in the library. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. Mess food is decent, and canteens are available. Medical facilities are pretty good. Sports and games facilities are accessible with equipment and playing areas.
Faculty: Teaching quality depends on the faculty. Most of the teachers are excellent, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Faculty clear doubts and queries immediately. The course follows a curriculum that is more theoretical rather than practical.

SRMIST KTR (Main Campus) review - all pros and cons covered.
Placements: Placements are not good if you don't do DSA and Development and if you don't have good CGPA. In the third year. They will recruit for internships. Offers are also decent. Maximum package is 1Cr by Amazon Germany. The guy who got this offer is Puranjay Mohan. You should search it up on liked in. Great guy from his profile. NextTechLab is one of the good clubs in SRM.
Infrastructure: Hostel is fine. Food is not good. Sometimes its good. Weekly they give ice cream once in the mess. Locality is good, the campus is nice. The have badminton nets outside the hostel area. PG I have not booked. Nor would I recommend. There is a good society nearby which is called Estancia. Live there after living in hostel for one year.
Faculty: The faculty is fine, 70% of them actually teach with the intentions of putting in knowledge in us. Others are not good. He teachers will frequently tell what and all is good for placements. Very rarely I find teachers giving more marks to south students.
Other: Cybersecurity is the one thing I was sure about since high school, and college is taking specialisations seriously. So I would say if your not getting colleges like Thapar, Jaypee Noida or government colleges, go for SRMIST KTR.

Our college provides good placements, but faculty members are not that good.
Placements: Placements are pretty good in this college when compared to previous years. Top companies like Microsoft also take part in the placement session, and one of the best things this college can provide is your placement. You need to work hard for yourself to get that, and college provides all the opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty big and spacious. You can access Wi-Fi. Labs are equipped with good materials. There is a huge library on campus, which is on 3 floors. Most of the books are available. In hostels, you can't expect great rooms, but the facilities they provide are good. You get Wi-Fi. The mess food is not that great. Medical facilities are average. There are huge grounds.
Faculty: Most faculty members are good, but some are not very supportive. However, the majority of them are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is quite good. We have CTs. Our college administers four CTs as well as one model university practical and theory exam. There are many examinations as well. As you keep up with every CT examination, it will be easy for you to pass the university theory examination. These internals carry 50% of your scores in the final exams. The university theory exam and practical exam carry another 50%. The pass percentage is 50%.

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
Placements: In our college, almost 75% of students are placed. The salary package offered is between 6 LPA and 48 LPA. They provided a wide range of subjects through courses and internships. An internship is given according to your interests and abilities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SRM KTR gives you good views around campus. CSE students mostly get the Tech Park building. The library is the best, with a large variety of books. Wi-Fi is fast. SRM labs use standard uniforms and safety instructions.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified. Semester exams are easy. Marks are divided into two categories, internal and external. The internal category includes assignments, midterms, labs, and vivas, while the external category includes practical tests and written tests. About 50% of the weightage is given to the internals and 50% to externals.
Other: One important thing is that events conducted in SRM are grand. They celebrate every festival. SRM students are united so they plan and seek permission from authorities to celebrate even minor events on larger stages.

I am not satisfied with this college and do not think it is worth the money.
Placements: In our college, there are almost 200 students. From the third year, professional subjects will be added, but the problem is that we will be provided with theoretical knowledge only in those subjects. Practicals will not be included. There are very few companies that recruit students from our campus in cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities are not up to the mark. For B.Tech students, there are two buildings namely, UB and Techpark. Our building toilets are very smelly, but in every class, there is central air-conditioning. The food that SRM serves in the hostel is not good and many students get food poisoning. The hostel fees for girls' hostels are around Rs.200000 and nothing is worth it for this money. They provide labs for core subjects, but for professional work, there are no labs.
Faculty: Some faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. A few don't know how to teach properly.
