Mumbai University Admission Process 2025
Mumbai University admission criteria are merit and entrance-based. The selection procedure varies depending on the chosen programme. The university opens admission for UG courses in May with the release of admission form, followed by the merit list. For PG programmes, the registration also opens in May and continues till June. STEP 1: Mumbai University Application Process 2025
The university accepts applications via online mode.
Applications are shortlisted based on the scores of the candidates in the respective entrance exams. For UG courses, admission is granted based on the last qualifying exam scores of the candidates. A cutoff list may also be released for some University of Mumbai course admissions.
STEP 3: Personal Interview & Group Discussion
For some of the PG courses, the shortlisted candidates are further called for personal interviews and group discussions. The final selection is done based on overall performance in selection rounds.
STEP 4: Admission Confirmation
Selected candidates can further pay the required admission fee to confirm their seat. Candidates may have to visit the university/respective college campus to submit important documents and pay the MU fee for admission confirmation.

For admission to Mumbai University, application forms are usually out in the last week of May on the official website (mu.ac.in).
