Candidates after completing Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for the BBA course. The university offers BBA in 27 specialisations through the UPES School of Business. Some of the BBA specialisations, include Finance Management, Operations Management, Marketing Management and Human Resource, etc.

Additionally, UPES Dehradun admission to BBA course will be based on national and university-level entrance exams like UPESMET UG, UGAT or CUET UG followed by a personal interview round. Candidates must qualify the PI round for BBA courses under School of Modern Media. As soon as the selection rounds are over, candidates are called for document verification round.  UPES Dehradun offers over 72 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels through nine schools and UPES Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Business, etc. The university conducts its own entrance exams like UPESMET, UPESMET UG, UPESPAT, etc. for providing admission to specific courses. Apart from these, UPES Dehradun also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET UG, NEET, JEE Main, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for UG courses. A minimum of graduation is required for PG courses. 

Candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate along with Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology as one of the major subjects in Class 12 can apply for the BCA course. Aspirants meeting the eligibility requirements can apply for any of the BCA specialisation. Candidates can choose the specialisation of their choice in the second year of the course. BCA is available in three specialisations, namely Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Internet of Things. Additionally, candidates will be shortlisted for BCA based on CUET UG score. Aspirants who have not appeared for the entrance exam can come for personal interview round. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university. To encourage more female students to continue their learning journeys after class 12, UPES through its initiative ‘Shakti’ is creating a fast track for them from classroom to the boardroom - with exclusive scholarships for female students. All students who have applied for admission to UPES MBA courses (regular) except Global Pathway Program (GPP) and have done graduation from any recognised university exam (mentioned under AIU) shall be eligible for consideration for this scholarship. However, this Scholarship shall be awarded only to those students who have complied with below-defined scholarship criteria for the first year. There is no subsequent renewal. 

Yes, the University offers Entry Level Scholarship on the basis of JEE/CUET exams. Candidates seeking admission in Engineering courses can avail of UPES Dehradun scholarship on the basis of JEE Main score, provided they meet the set percentile at the time of admission.

 UPES Dehradun admission to MBA course is based on national or university-evel entrance exams. The university accepts GATE/ CAT/ CUET PG + PI scores for providing admission. In case, an aspirant fails to secure the minimum marks* specified by the university, he or she will need to appear for UPESMET. It is an online entrance exam conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours. UPESMET sections include English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical Reasoning. For admission to Global MBA, aspirants only need to come for the PI round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview round for further selection.
