VIT Vellore MBA Admission Dates 2026
VIT Vellore MBA admission dates begin from previous year's October. Candidates who have appeared in VITBEE before October in the same year cannot apply through those scores. Instead, applications for next year's VITBEE begin with these applications. However, candidates can also appear in CAT, MAT or XAT as all these exams are ongoing at this point.

Admission to VIT BTech course is based on VITEEE score, followed by a counselling round. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. Every year, VITEEE is held to get students enrolled in various undergraduate courses. VIT also considers the eligibility of the aspirants for final admission. STEP 1: VIT Vellore MBA Application Process
- Go to VIT Vellore's website.

- Pay VIT Vellore MBA application fees.
If candidates do not have a valid CAT result or result of MAT/ XAT, they will be automatically registered for appearing in VITBEE.
STEP 2: Selection Rounds
After applications have been received for MBA admission, VIT Business School will begin screening process. Selected candidates will be called for a personal interview round for further evaluations. Candidates with very high scores in CAT will be considered for early admission.
Once evaluation round is over, a combined score based on academic, entrance exam and interview performance will be given to every candidate. If a candidate submits some work experience, they will get an advantage during VIT Vellore admission.
Candidates with the best overall scores will be given admission letters which will contain details for final stage of MBA admission.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Admission
Chosen candidates must pay MBA admission fees for confirmation of admission. This fees contains an advanced fee and balance fee which have different deadlines for payment of fees. After payment of fees candidates will undergo document verification process. Once documents are verified, admission process comes to an end.

A pass in regular, full-time UG/ Integrated degree from a recognised institute/ university of at least three years duration with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST candidates and applicants belonging to Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) is required to apply for the MBA course.
Additionally, the institute shortlists candidates for MBA course based on national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT, ATMA. The shortlisted aspirants are further required to come for the PI round. Vellore Institute of Technology will also consider the academic performance and work experience of the candidates for final selection.

Yes, students can get really good placements at VIT Vellore. According to the report, the highest package offered during VIT Vellore placements 2026 was INR 1 Crore per Annum. This is the 4th consecutive year wherein more than 10,000 offers were made. 696 Marquee offers above INR 20 LPA were made in 2026. Number of Super Dream (above 10 LPA) and Dream Offers (above 6 LPA) made were 3,097 and 2,917. 742 companies visited the campus in 2026.

The internship percentage is also more than 90 percent. Top recruiting companies offering are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, etc. Wi-Fi is available in the library and every hostel block, with a pretty good internet speed. There are very clean washrooms and there is no crowd in the washrooms in the morning or during peak hours, too. Faculty members are well educated and do fair checking of exams.
The official VITEEE 2026 dates will be released soon. The schedule should be checked regularly so that the students can be updated with the important examination and admission events. If any date is changed or postponed, the authorities will announce it online. Therefore, the candidates are advised to remain updated with the VIT 2026 schedule at the official website.
Candidates will be able to access their VITEEE result online at vit.ac.in. To download the VITEEE result, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The authorities will not use any other mode to release the VIT result. Important details such as the scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be available behind the admission portal.
