College is overall good. A little bit dissatisfied with the faculty of C programming.

Placements: Roles offered are software developer. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Mathco, and Gemini. For Google, I guess the students have to apply for off-campus. The highest package might be 53 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Around 60 percent of students got placed in the CSE course.

Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is not up to the mark. It's not as good as expected. The food in the hostel isn't as good but it's edible. There are good facilities for sports, there's an indoor games room, a football court, and a basketball court. In terms of Wi-Fi inside the library it is good but in the hostel it might not be working as well.

Faculty: The college curriculum is good and the teachers teach well. The college curriculum might not be enough to get a job in the real world. So the students should work more on projects and build their good profiles on LinkedIn, Naukri, and apply for off-campus.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to go into the IT sector for the top roles in job hunting.

Overall, above average, the sports department needs more involvement.

Placements: So I have enrolled in the Computer Science and Engineering course at Atria Institute of Technology, and there are about 5-6 separate sections for the CSE branch. I am particularly in the 5th section. The percentage of students who got placed is nearly 25-45%, mostly in my course. The highest package is around 20 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are mostly startups and others like Deduce Technologies, Step In Technologies, Unisys, JEM (drive the change), CodeYoung, and I got to know them through our official Atria LinkedIn ID and posters. Around 10-15% got internships from CSE. Top roles offered are developers, front-end, back-end, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities are really good, more than expected actually, updated systems to do programming and smartboards in almost every class. The infrastructure is also quite good, the campus is small, but all areas of the campus building are efficiently used. good infrastructure and other space for a sports ground, a lab with all equipment is present in good condition, Wi-Fi works well and is secure. The quality of food is generally really good compared to other colleges because the hygiene and mess are handled really well and organised. The canteen is also good, offering various items and different types of shops available, and has its own turf ground.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They are qualified and very knowledgeable, always there to guide us and provide real-time, practical knowledge rather than old, stuffed knowledge. It's really impressive to be noted. The teaching quality of all the teachers is not up to mark, but most of them are really good at communication and understanding every student's issue, and they teach us really well. They keep giving examples and guidance for real-world knowledge, which eventually prepares us for an industry-ready student. The difficult level, I would say, is 70%, and 95% is the pass rate.

Other: I chose this career because it's in demand now, compared to all other paths. Best thing about my course is that it has various roles to perform. We can study in depth according to the role we like. The best thing is I would love to implement a direct road map for students and allow them to choose only one programming language to study throughout 4 years rather than studying C, Python, and Java all together. Events and festivals are not up to the mark, a little less compared to others, and the surroundings are really good. Extracurricular activities are also limited. There are not that many sports.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) offers full-time BTech and BE courses in multiple specialisations. RNSIT review about College academics and life.

Placements: The placement in the CSE department is good with a steady placement ratio. The college conducts regular placement training and holds events to ensure students are prepared for actual challenges. The students are placed in good companies with an average of 8-9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Colleges' infrastructure is well developed and maintained. There are separate departmental buildings and a big auditorium. The hostel facilities are average, with curfew at 7 PM. The college provides sports facilities, a good food court, and a galleria for a random hangout spot.

Faculty: The exams are conducted thrice, with two internals and one external. The exams are based on the things taught in class. If focused properly, you can score 9+ CGPA. There is a minimum criterion of attendance of 85% you need to maintain to be eligible for exams.

Other: The cultural side is not very active. The college focuses on more academic development.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and good placement.

Placements: The placement at RNSIT College is above average. The highest package is 50 LPA, from the CSE AIML department, and the average package is 3 to 6 LPA. Other branch placements and high packages are also good. The top branches in our college are CSE, AIML, and ECE.

Infrastructure: RNSIT campus is big, and the facilities are well-maintained and neatly managed. The temple inside the campus brings a positive feeling. The seniors on campus are very friendly. The canteen food is good, and some items cost more, but it's worth it. My personal favourite is dosa, which is so affordable.

Faculty: Teachers are highly helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and supports students to start working on projects from the 1st semester itself, making students industry-ready. The faculty are very supportive of the project, and a May 1st year student participated in a hackathon, and they won.

Other: The events and festivals make us connect with our seniors, and the campus greenery is highlighted, and they also allow us to do some extracurricular activities like sports, dance, music, etc.

Placements: About 40% students are placed in my course, with the highest being 8 LPA and the average being 4 LPA. Top recruiting company is Infosys. You need to have a good CGPA to enter the interviews. The highest packages are all taken by students with a 9+ CGPA. Therefore, it also depends on your extra knowledge and hard work.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent, and it's away from the main road. A good amount of greenery, but the infrastructure is old-fashioned as it was built a long time ago. The hostel is a bit far, but living there is manageable. The food provided might not be the best, but it is adjustable. Sports-wise, there are good opportunities if researched. There's a huge football ground.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-known and amiable. But the curriculum might be considered a bit lagging. It depends on the faculty. If the faculty is an experienced one, they might give you good insights into the industry, which is helpful. You must have a good ear to pay attention.

Decent college with good opportunities, but not perfect.

Placements: I can say 80-90 % of cybersecurity students get placed, but most of them get in general IT roles rather than core cybersecurity. The highest package goes above 40 LPA, but only for a few top students. The average package is around 6 to 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 to 4 LPA. Top companies are Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS and a few product-based companies also. Around 60-70% students get internships. The roles which they offered are Software Engineer, Analyst, and some Security Analyst positions for, of course, students with extra skills and certification.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained with projectors, if we ignore a few broken benches. Labs are decent and okay for basic security practice. The library is pretty good with enough academic resources and a quiet study environment. Hostel facilities are manageable but not exceptional. Rooms are average, and maintenance is slow. The mess food is average, like other college messes, and repetitive. The canteen is good, but you will not get any good and wider choices for snacks. Sports and games competitions and resources are available, but the main issue is the small ground.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, decent, and very helpful. Teaching is pretty good, but some of the courses and topics are still old and not updated. So, extra efforts are needed if you want to become skilled through certification and practice. Semester exams are difficult, but if you study PYQs and notes from faculty members, you can score decent marks. Also, the pass percentage is quite high, around 85 to 95 percent as most students clear exams with much difficulty. Faculty members for the cybersecurity branch are nice and strict.

Other: I chose CyberSecurity because I wanted to be in the CS branch, but due to the entrance exam, i.e., COMEDK, I got selected in CSE & Cyber Security. The best part of this course is they taught concepts like networking, security basics and ethical hacking. I feel this course could be improved by giving more practical exposure and real-world projects instead of mostly theory. Campus life is good, with a decent crowd and regular events, but the fest is below average. Earlier fests were good, but now they have become very messy and scammy, as they usually cancel them.

Placements: 26.83% of students got placed in Biotechnology. While many others opted for higher studies. The highest package on campus was 56 LPA. The average was 8 to 12 LPA. CSE branch had the highest placements. Companies like Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Wipro, JPMorgan Chase, and other top IT companies recruited students.

Infrastructure: The department provides good labs and classrooms with the latest equipment. Wi-Fi is available in the library. The hostel food is good, which balances hostel life. Facilities like a gym, tennis court, football ground, and basketball court are available for students.

Faculty: All faculty members are qualified professors with postgraduate degrees, and most also hold Ph.D. degrees. The course is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The passing percentage is around 40%. Attendance requirement is 75%, and college timings are from 9 to 5.
