Placements: Our college provides many placements. Our course strength will be less compared to other branches so all students will get salary packages. Our college provides a good number of projects to work on so that we will get hands-on experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and huge. Classrooms are good. The hostel rooms are provided according to our choice like air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. We can also get rooms to share. The hostel rooms are average. The food served in the hostel is not up to the mark. It is average.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. All teachers conduct proper lab classes regularly. All classes' schedule is a bit tight. Exams are conducted according to rules and regulations. The level of the question papers is moderate. We can use the library during exams.
Other: Admission is based on students' criteria.

Good exposure from all over India with decent infrastructure
Placements: Due to covid the civil department didn't get great placements otherwise it's good. Most of the IT department guys got placements but other branches not so much, however, after covid hopefully it will increase. Overall its great for placements if you work a little hard.
Infrastructure: Hostel and the course structure is very good. Unlimited WI-FI in campus and in hostels. Library has a huge collection and also has a digital access which is very good. Hostel is very good where the housekeeping will come daily to clean the room. Only AC hostel have separate bathrooms rest has common bathrooms which are not so good.
Faculty: Teachers are always there for you whenever you need them, they are very supportive and have a very good knowledge in there respective courses. The structure is very good for my course which is civil department . The exam is structured very good which has 50 marks for internals and 50 marks for final exams and the minimum marks required to qualify for next semester is 50% which is 50 marks which can be easily achieved.

I am satisfied with this college, but it is not up to the mark.
Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, IBM and Tech Mahindra visit our campus for placements. About 80% of the students from our course got an internship. Top roles are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my course are decent enough. All sports grounds are maintained neatly here.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is very good. They teach us in the most understanding way. Faculty members are teaching in a practical manner so that we can understand the concepts in a conceptual manner. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. I would rate 3 out of 5 for their teaching quality.

The college has well-equipped laboratory and good hostel with all the necessary facilities.
Placements: Placements are pretty good in SRM for computing departments but coming to civil engineering there are very few core companies that come for the recruitment. however you will get placements in mass recruitment, but getting in core one is very difficult.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good in SRM and I really mean this, they have extremely good hostel services and the college building is well-equipped with all the necessary technologies required. The laboratory is well-equipped too. The hostel has multiple facilities depending on the price you pay, however, even the non AC rooms are pretty good and you will easily be able to make through it.
Faculty: It has multiple factors which control this, not all the teachers have a good grasp over the courses but most of the teachers are also, it depends on the student's ability to understand things and work on it. If they have a learning attitude they will always learn and grasp things.

Satisfied curriculum wise and infrastructure is really good. Placement can be increased.
Placements: Around 40% of students get placed from college. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. L&T was the top recruiting company of our college. Project in-charge and quality check are the roles offered. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Around 50% of students got opportunities to work in L&T and Ceebros.
Infrastructure: The college provided all the facilities and infrastructure that is required for the course. We had a Wi-Fi in the library and CCTV provision in classrooms, etc. The quality of the hostel accommodation was good. The food served was above average, and it follows the same for all the facilities.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well trained and socialised. They are knowledgable to train and teach according to the students understanding. Hence it gives a good remark in teaching. The course curriculum is similar overall, and it makes students partially ready for jobs.
Other: I opted this course to handle and develop my father's construction business. A field visit is the most important part of our course. Events like Milan, Srujan, etc., were held on campus.

There is no problem in our college, and facilities for very good.
Placements: Few students are placed in companies. The salary package offered is around 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are L&T, TCS, many software companies. Some core companies also visited here. The top role offered to the students is in finance. In our course, the salary package offered is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. There are many labs, and for each course, there are separate labs. Wi-Fi is not available in the college. There is a library in our college with many books and knowledgeable books. The hostel was very neat and clean, and the quality of the food is also very good.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified, and they also guide students properly and in a positive way. They are technically qualified, and well-knowledgeable persons are appointed in our college. I think the study is different than practical knowledge.

Good placement in 2019 academic year, excellent infrastructure.
Placements: They are providing the excellent placement offers to the students. Around 4500 students were placed in the last academic year (2019) and made a record. Top companies in IT such as Wipro, TCS, CTS are hiring candidates from our college campus. The highest package salary is about 8 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: They are exhilarating architectural viewed buildings as classrooms and hostels. Free Wi-Fi router is placed in each and every classrooms. The University building has the biggest library on our campus. They are also providing food for the hostelers students at both North Indian and South Indian cuisines. They also provide OP card for treatments on hospital only for students. There are lots of play ground are available in our campus for both outdoor and indoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are coaching the students in a lot more ways such as project reviews, semester exams, research papers, laboratory sessions and etc. , They are excellence in quality and with the experience of about 5 years and getting updated on new and recent educational concepts trending on now a days.

Overall, I had an average experience here.
Placements: Nearly 75% of the students from our course were placed. The highest salary package offered varies from 7 LPA to 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, CTS, India Bulls, etc. The top role offered in our course is a civil engineering trainee. The average salary package offered varies from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. About 70% of the students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure like computer lab, playground and civil engineering branch laboratories of all subjects. Different hostels are available for international, South and North Indian students, and different food items are served for them with good quality.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers here is very average. However, practical knowledge provided here is helpful. Practical sessions provided here include lab, design, paper presentations, etc. Senior faculty members are good, but junior faculty members are not up to the mark. The course curriculum was relevant enough.
Other: Civil engineering course was very relevant and updated. In this course, there will be good opportunities at any time. I suggest that our college should include practical sessions and industry-oriented syllabus. Our college organises events like Aarush, etc., every year. There will be monthly interaction with deans, fashion festivals, etc.

As SRM university main campus is widely preferred, it is better to take civil engineering course there. You can have better infrastructure and placements too.
So, it is worthy to take civil at SRM University, if you can pay the fees.
