A:

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. For 2022, the cut off was 2925 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Engineering Physics in IIT Delhi. In addition, for the female candidates of the General category under All India quota, 6738 was the closing rank. Further, the BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

A:

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, the opening rank was 102 and the closing rank was 102. For BTech in Chemical Engineering, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks were 2548 and 2464 for IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, respectively, for the students belonging to the General AI quota. For CSE admission at IIT Gandhinagar, the last round closing rank stood at 2020. Therefore, regardless of the branch you get, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are also considered to be better options due to their brand value, academics, and placements. 

In case your preference is only CSE, IIT Gandhinagar is not a bad option, as it is also known for its academics and faculty. Plus the CSE branch has better placement opportunities. To take your decision, other aspects, such as the ranking and average package for IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and IIT Gandhinagar, are tabulated below:

IIT Delhi M.Tech tuition fee is INR 70,000. Additionally, the hostel fee range from INR 1.66 Lacs to INR 2.29 lakh along with one-time fee of INR 16,150. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
