Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in India. It offers a plethora of courses and projects for students to choose from. The MBA, MBA IB, and MBA-AB programmes include summer training, dissertation projects, and minor projects in their core curriculum. In India and internationally, business and industrial houses are working on the aforementioned initiatives. Each year, industrial companies and faculty collaborate to plan the project. At the PG level, the Faculty of Science has mandated student projects.

Banaras Hindu University is one of the eight public universities that the Indian government has named an Institution of Eminence. About 15,000 of the roughly 30,000 students of BHU, the biggest residential university in Asia, live on campus. The highest package offered by BHU to students is INR 35 LPA. The university has an international centre specially available for international students. Q:   Is CAT compulsory for MBA at BHU?
A:

No, CAT is not necessary for MBA at BHU. The university offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University (bhu.ac.in) to apply online. BHU MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance test. The final selection is based on the student's performance in the GD & PI rounds. However, for admission to the MBA special courses of study, candidates can get admission with a valid CUET-PG score. Apart from this, the course aspirants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements as well.

Q:   Is BHU Asia's the largest university?
A:

BHU is the largest residential university in Asia. It has 10 departments under Special Assistance Programme, 6 centres of Advanced Studies, and a large number of specialised Research Centers.  The university provides various facilities for sport and hobbies, has a big auditorium, large playgrounds, a flying club and many other services and units such as printing press, Fruit Preservation Centre, Publication Cell, Subsidised Canteens, Employment and Information Bureau, and others. Students from the Faculty of Science are dispatched to companies like ONGC, IMD, NGRI, IITM, IITs, SNBCBR, TIFR, PRL, NPL, IUCAA, SINP, VECC, NBRI, IICB, NCL, CDRI, etc. to finish their project work.

Types of workshops at BHU

The BSc (Hons) course in Agriculture is also offered at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, and Mirzapur under Special Courses of Studies. Admission to the BSc (H) at BHU is through the NTA CUET-UG exam. The students have to apply for this exam and pass it with a good score to secure admission to the university. A:

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the top-ranking universities in the country. In the NIRF rankings in 2023, BHU is ranked in fifth position under the "university" category. Moreover, as per the university NIRF report 2023, 480 UG (three-year) students were placed out of 3,564. The median package given to the placed candidates stood at INR 8 LPA.
