JIPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026: The National Testing Agency releases JIPMAT eligibility criteria. Candidates aspiring for IPM admissions at IIM Jammu or IIM Bodh Gaya in 2026-31 batch will have to meet JIPMAT 2026 eligibility criteria. NTA notifies the eligibility conditions for the JIPMAT exam with the release of the information bulletin. Candidates can also find JIPMAT eligibility conditions in the IPM admission policy released by the participating IIMs.

JIPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria below to apply for JIPMAT 2026 exam:
Educational Qualification (IIM Jammu)
- Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam, or equivalent, in 2024, 2025 or shall be taking the exam in 2026. Candidates waiting for the Class 12 results must pass by the end of July 31, 2026.
- Candidates must have passed the Class 10 exam in 2022 or later.
Educational Qualification (IIM Bodh Gaya)
- Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam, or equivalent, in 2025 or shall be taking the exam in 2026. Candidates waiting for the Class 12 results are also eligible. However, they must pass the exam before the specified date.
- Candidates must have passed the Class 10 exam in 2023 or later.
Minimum Qualifying Score
- Candidates must score a minimum of 60 per cent in Class 12 and Class 10 if they belong to the general category.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for scoring a minimum of 55 per cent in Class 12 and Class 10.
Age Limit: No age limit has been prescribed by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu; however, candidates must have fulfilled the passing year criteria for Class 10 and Class 12.

JIPMAT Eligibility Criteria: List of 10+2 Equivalent Exams
The space below mentions the exams that are treated equivalent to 10+2 level of education:
- Plus two level exams in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education under recognised central or state exam boards
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination offered by recognised institutes, commonly known as Junior Colleges
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by NIOS or State Board of Open Schooling. Students with a mark sheet from open school must have studied a minimum of five subjects with English as one of the mandatory subjects.
Candidates aspiring for JIPMAT must have passed the Class 12 level exam in any stream. Aspirants who are waiting for the Class 12 exam result and will pass the exam are also eligible to apply for the JIPMAT exam. UR category candidates must have secured 60 per cent aggregate marks in Class 10 and 12. Reserved categories have a marks concession of 5 per cent.

IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu will release the cutoff score soon after the declaration of JIPMAT results.
