Good college: Gargi College.
Placements: The placement is quite decent. You will find companies which look mainly for a commerce background but rarely companies with a science background. Due to this, science students do not get much industry exposure. Only a few students apply for placement and out of them only a very small number of students get selected.
Infrastructure: The college campus is beautiful and has good infrastructure. No hostel facility so these students have to rely on PG or flat facilities which are quite expensive. There is Wi-Fi facility but it's very slow and sometimes there is a network issue in the college. A library and medical facility are available. The college canteen is quite decent and is affordable. Badminton, basketball, volleyball, cricket, bat, and ball are available. Even yoga mats are also available so if you want you may take and practice.
Faculty: The faculty is kind, humble, and understanding. You may solve your problems and clear your doubts with the teachers within or even after class if needed. The curriculum is based on NEP. There are semester-wise exams which are not very difficult if you study and attend class regularly.
Other: Gargi College is a complete girls' college so this makes a peaceful and safe environment. There are various societies where students can join and gain skills. The placement cell is also open to students. The college organises an annual fest along with cultural events and fests where students enjoy and have fun. There are academic workshops, conferences, and internships organised by the college. There are various scholarships for students to avail themselves of.

Review of Gargi College and its facilities.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is around 23 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. The average package is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, etc., visit the college for placements. Students work in the research department.
Infrastructure: Facilities like labs for our course are the best. Classrooms and library are not that good because Wi-Fi is at only certain places. Jio sim does not work at all in the college so it is difficult to contact or use a phone. Our canteen infrastructure is below average because of improper management. Food, sports, and games facilities are good. There is no hostel in Gargi College.
Faculty: Teachers are awesome at teaching in the Chemistry department and our syllabus is always completed on time. But in helping they are moderate. The course curriculum is relevant as it develops skills in a student and makes them capable of working in various fields. Semester exams are between moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is around 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it is something very unique for science students as many go in B.Tech so nobody knows about this course very well. The best thing about our course is that it frames a student for various interesting fields like Industry. I wish that this course involves real-life experiments with natural things. Events of Gargi are outstanding. Scholarship facilities and extracurricular activities are also good.

Our college is good but the canteen food is not so worth it.
Placements: Students get internships in their 2nd year. Based on their work, they get placements as a lab assistant or in chemical factors and many more. Top recruitment companies are Accenture, Godrej, HCL, IBM, and many more. Top roles offered are chemical engineer, laboratory technician, research scientist, analytical chemist, etc. Around 60% of students get placements every year.
Infrastructure: Hostels are under construction. Rooms are very spacious. Our classrooms and benches are very well-maintained. I really like the campus. It's a cherry red campus. The library is very peaceful. We study there whenever we have free time. The sports faculty is very good. We can play basketball, volleyball, and table tennis. They provide us with the ball.
Faculty: Our teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful to us. They provide us with every resource for the semester examination. They explain topics very well. Semester exams are of a moderate level. Students manage to pass the examination except a few who did not study.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in chemistry. I like the fundamentals of chemistry. I don't think there's any improvement needed. The best thing about this course is that we get to learn practical knowledge of compounds and solutions. I love the laboratory classes. Gargi's fests are famous for their annual fest named Riverie. This college has a dance society which is very talented. Girls work hard for their respective societies. The campus environment feels so peaceful and safe.

Gargi college review: a student's perspective.
Placements: The highest package of college is 21 LPA and the average is 5.35 LPA. Most of the students who do not wish to pursue higher education get placements. There are numerous internship facilities from top companies. There is a placement cell in college that regularly shares internship opportunities with the students.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very good, but there is no hostel facility provided by the college itself. The college has a very good Wi-Fi service, and the library has a huge amount of books, study materials, and journals for everyone. The college cafeteria is quite affordable, and the food is good. Enough quantity is given, so students who wish to spend on the cafeteria regularly can afford it.
Faculty: The college faculty is good and cooperative, especially the Chemistry department. The lectures are very informative and easy to understand. There is a semester exam fee that ranges from Rs.1400 to Rs.2200 depending on the course. Since I am majoring in Chemistry Hons, the exam fee is higher than other courses (practical). According to NEP and the new criteria, the passing criteria is 28 marks. The semester exams are not too difficult, as the syllabus is covered in class.
Other: There are various societies in the college, and each Tuesday during the ECA break a different society holds an event. Recruitment for the societies happens at the beginning of each new session. In addition, every year the Student Council organizes an annual sports day, an annual cultural festival called "Revierie," and a Diwali celebration called "Ziestatva."

Honest Review on Gargi College.
Placements: As a student of third at Gargi college I can say that, The percentage of students placed in my course is 60% and most of the students opt for higher studies. The highest package is 10 LPA, Average Package is 4 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are ITC, Hindustan Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, P&G, cipla etc. Top roles offered for my job are Research Scientist, Quality control analyst and Product chemist.
Infrastructure: The college has very beautiful and well maintained infrastructure. Library, classrooms and hostels has Wi-Fi facility. The labs are well-equipped with modern equipments. The library has a large collection of books and journals and the staff was always very helpful in proving assistance. The hostel facilities are very good for students. Hostels are spacious and very well furnished. Hostel have great mess and college has good canteen for food. College and hostel both have medical facility. We have numbers of sports and games events for student where they can show their talent.
Faculty: We have well qualified teachers and since, it is a government college, most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. Quality of teaching is great and most of the teachers are dedicated. The course curriculum is relevant and make students ready for industry. I would say scoring good marks is difficult but if you attend regular classes and study throughout the year, you can score well in exams. Pass percentage is 33%.
Other: The best thing about the college is diversity because here students come from different states and cultures. I wish placements will become better in upcoming years otherwise college in other aspects are great.

The events were best among all the colleges.
Placements: In my course only 2 girls got placement through college maybe we just didn't applied or many companies take placement for management and commerce related students. But we got lot of internships for a particular period and through batch group I can say there are no. Of things if you take interest in placements and internship and no information is out of reach to students as all keeps circulated.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is still not there but infrastructure is comparatively got after COVID due to funding and it got renovated and now gives a whole new positive vibe. A new block is under construction in taking care of increase in no. of admissions per year.
Faculty: Faculty and administration is helping in nature, most of the works go smoothly and on time no matter what. During or even after the college time they are always other to help you. Moreover it's very easy to reach them and they will consider your issues as well as your opinion.
Other: The events were best among all the colleges under the university as it had wide range of good stuffs and it was never boring no matter how small or big the event is. Campus crowd is best and safe to be in. Also it was quite refreshing at times and heart warming. The societies were always best performance giving and coordinating among all. The ground is quite spacious and is best place to be there in winter to get warm under soothing sunlight. Canteen should be upgraded a little though.

Really good infrastructure and facilities
Placements: Less placement for science students. But there is a good placement for commerce and humanities students. There is also a placement cell as well which makes the students aware of the opportunities from our college. There is no placement from our batch or senior batch. The highest salary offered to others was 18 thousand.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really nice. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medicinal facilities, sports and games are also available and are also good. The quality of classroom and labs is really good. The quality of food is also good and cheap as well. There is no hostel in the college but the university hostel is available. The rooms of the university hostels are really good. I didn't face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The faculty is really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The faculty members are really nice people and help us a lot. They use all the teaching methods including powerpoint presentations. They are really good people. They also guide us about our career. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1. We get industry exposure as well. The course curriculum is useful.

Excellent faculty and a good infrastructure makes the college a good option for pursuing B.Sc chem.
Placements: The college has a very good placement cell that provides students with information about internships, seminars, placements, campus interviews etc. Some recruiters that often visit college include Genpact, Google, Capital IQ. Students of chemistry department hardly apply for placements as they are more into pursuing masters degree in the subject. Therefore there are hardly any placements.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is enabled with wifi facility for students as well as staff members, though the signal strength is not good. The college has a seminar hall and an auditorium that can accommodate many students at a time. Canteen provides a variety of food items which is hygienic too. Laboratories are equipped with adequate apparatus for experiments.
Faculty: Course duration is 3 years. Most of the faculty hold a doctorate degree and are extremely knowledgeable. They are very helpful and one can approach them without any hesitation. They provide in-depth knowledge of the subject instead of mere course completion.
