It's good for everything, but it offers average packages only.

Placements: Yearly, around 80% students are placed, some go to higher education also. In dual degree VLSI, the lowest package is 10LPA, the highest is 30 LPA, and the average is 17 LPA. According to the highest package, recruiters are from AMD, and companies like Nvidia also come for recruitments.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library, and everything is good, you can participate in many sports, and the gym is also there. Washing machines are available in hostels, everything is good, labs and infrastructure are also good. I recommend you come to this beautiful campus. The campus is so good and hostels are good.

Faculty: To say about the exam, they are between moderate and hard, depending on the subject. Teachers are qualified from reputed institutions. I promise you they are always supportive and encouraging. The course curriculum is good, which helps you a lot. Semester difficulty is between moderate and tough.

A brief review on IIITDM.

Placements: At present, there are no placements in IITs also. The highest package in our college is 54 LPA. The average package in our college is 12 LPA. In my course, the top companies are Nvidia, Snapdragon, etc. Maybe the percentage of placements may increase at our graduation.

Infrastructure: We have a separate laboratory complex for labs. It has 6 floors and contains more than 40 labs, like for coding, Verilog, VHDL, embedded systems, etc. Classrooms have in-built central AC systems and can hold up to 180 students per class. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the academic block and in the hostel. The food quality is a bit low, and the taste is different when compared to our food. All types of games are available to learn and play.

Faculty: When it comes to faculty, I am a bit not satisfied with them. Because some of the faculty fail the students intentionally and keep them writing until their graduation years. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. If we start reading from the beginning of college, the semester exams will be top. As time moves, it becomes difficult.

Other: My course is an ECE dual degree in VLSI. This specialization allows me to work on chipsets like processors graphic cards, etc. The faculty should change their mindset of stopping the students from graduating. There are mainly three fests: Miraki, Smagatha, and Freshers.

Good placements last year, with a really good infrastructure and hostel, zero ragging over here.

Placements: This year, the job market was facing a decline in recruiting freshmen all over India, so last year the placements were about 97%, but this time it dropped down to 73%. The highest package was 32 LPA; the lowest is about 5–6 LPA, I guess! The top recruiting companies were Games Kraft, Zoom, Math works, and Kia, to name a few.

Infrastructure: Firstly, the hostels don't have AC facilities, but AC facilities are in the classrooms, labs, and libraries. Classrooms are of two types: one is a vast hall, and the other is a medium, typical classroom. Two students are allotted to each room, and there is a laundry room with some washing machines on the ground floor with LAN connections in each room. The quality of food is pretty good in both the mess and canteen; the non-veg menu is served twice a week. Medical facilities are pretty good, with an ambulance 24/7. Sports facilities are too good over here!

Faculty: The faculty here is quite knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is up to par. I'm a first-year student, so I couldn't clearly give clarity about the course curriculum and whether it makes the students industry-ready. Semi-semester exams have relatively high grading; exam toughness depends on the faculty who are handling that particular course, but the pass percentage is always above 80%.

Other: This course was kept again after COVID; VLSI has a good scope, and that's the reason for choosing this course; moreover, the dual degree placements are pretty good here. There are four major festivals: Vasisth (teach fest), Meraki, and Samgatha (cultural fests), and Freshmen Night. Apart from these, there will be celebrations for every festival generally.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 41 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiters are Google. All details about placements are available on the institute website. Top roles include machine learning, AI, data science, and web development.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are non-air-conditioner, the library has an air-conditioner, and Wi-Fi connections are provided. The classroom does not have an air-conditioner. Laboratories have all the necessary equipment. The hostel has a LAN port for the internet. Medical facilities for emergency cases are available. Basketball, football, tennis, cricket, badminton courts are available.

Faculty: All the lecturers are Ph.D. scholars, they also have teaching assistants to help students clear their doubts. All the lecturers are knowledgeable teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant to what career students plan to choose. Exams are difficult, and they mostly depend on the faculty members.

Other: I opted for this course since it was allocated to me in JOSAA. The best thing about the course is the availability of career options. I would prefer if the course is more focused on building a career. Students have Samgatha every odd semester and sports events every even semester. Scholarships details are given at the start of the college.

Our college will provide good placements in 2021-22.

Placements: About 60% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 41 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 65% of students from our course got internship and job offers. Most students opt for higher education.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms have a LAN port, and the library has Wi-Fi, and lab equipment is all functioning. Classrooms don't have air-conditioners. Classrooms have 5-10 fans, but they're not sufficient during summer, and the quality of food served in the mess is good. They do not repeat the same menu every day.

Faculty: We have teaching assistants to clear doubts. The course curriculum is relevant and is interesting. Semester exams are a little difficult, and a relative grading system is followed in almost all the courses. Most lecturers do not fail the students thereby the pass percentage is almost more than 90%.

Other: I ended up choosing this course since it was allocated for me in the JoSAA round 7. We have Samantha events every odd semester, and sports events in even semester. We also have many clubs for culture and other activities.
