Excellent infrastructure and faculty members. Research culture is groundbreaking.

Placements: Placements in mechanical engineering are decent. Around 75-80% of students got placed last year in various departments including automobile, manufacturing, and consulting. The median salary package offered is around 17.5 LPA - 18 LPA. Many students get internships in their 5th semester at different companies such as TCS, Wipro, Siemens, L&T, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college offers a range of facilities designed to support students in their research and learning. Some of them are well-furnished and fully air-conditioned classrooms along with Wi-Fi, advanced teaching aids, smartboards, and multimedia systems to enhance the learning experience. The library is the core of our college with a vast number of academic-related books, along with a good collection of comics, journals, mythology, self-improvement, and biography books. The main library is accessible for 17 hours a day, and you can also book study rooms in the library to study with your friends. All the hostel rooms are fully air-conditioned and interconnected with common rooms in each hostel. In rooms, you will get a bed, a study table, a chair with a night light just above the table, and a spacious almirah. Apart from that, our college has come up with the new emerging idea of an open culture to encourage learning and demolish the boundaries between opposite genders. As a result, you can go to opposite-gender hostel rooms without any restrictions.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching style has a remarkable impact on students. The course is very relevant and focuses not only on theoretical study but also on practical learning, encouraging students to learn and implement what they have learned. Semester exams reflect what we have learned in the lectures, although exams are not that difficult. The relative grading policy makes it more challenging and encourages continuous learning.

IIT Gandhinagar short review.

Placements: Placement here is decent. Not very big companies tend to come here for placements. The main reason for that might be the fact that the computer science branch has been recently introduced here, but definitely it will significantly improve over time as more cs branches such as AI have been introduced here.

Infrastructure: It has the best hostel facilities. If you opt for the newly built hostels, they will provide you with triple, double, and single(mostly in final and pre-final year). Each floor has a kitchen with an induction microwave and a fridge. Bathrooms are like for 5-7 people. There is a bathroom mostly all the hostels have bathroom of both ends of the corridor except for the old hostels, which only have 2 bathrooms on each floor, but they are big ones. Coming towards the labs for my course, they are also good. They almost have all the machinery which is also accessible to all the students. So far as projects are concerned, they tend to reimburse the material that has been consumed in that.

Faculty: Exams here are quite tough as the professor here tries to check your understanding of the topic; therefore, if your basic understanding of the topic is not clear, you will not be able to score well in exams. We follow a 2-examination system followed by multiple quizzes during the semester. Also, there are some assignments which are also part of grading. Grading is totally dependent on the professor, and no one can comment on that. Mostly, the professor follows relative grading compared to absolute grading.

Other: There is very less crowd and campus life here because the intake here is very low. The last year intake was just 400 in BTech and the total strength of students would just be around 2500, which is just 2 years of strength of some bigger IITs. Due to which there is not very diverse culture here. But as the new hostels are being made, intake would also increase.

Satisfied with the college facilities and decent placements great for research oriented students.

Placements: Almost everyone who applied for the placements got placed; the highest was around 60 LPA and the median would be around 14–15 LPA. Regarding internships, around 40% of students got internships. The internship recruiters were Atlassian, DE Shaw, Oracle, JSW, Puma, and Barclays. While some of these companies also came for placements, some other companies like Zomato, Nike, etc. also came for placements.

Infrastructure: This is the best part of IIT GN. The hostel rooms are very well maintained, and we have AC's that work at night for a peaceful sleep. Good Wi-Fi and LAN facilities are available. Mess food is pretty decent. The sports complex is really the highlight of the campus. It's really well-equipped. There are two libraries: one in the academic area and one in the student hostel area.

Faculty: The teachers are really good over here; they are always ready to collaborate with you if you are willing to work on a project. The course curriculum is dynamic in most of the courses and most of the courses are selected by the students themselves. Passing exams is easier but for scoring a good grade, consistency is important.

A new-generation IIT having excellent Campus Infrastructure named IIT Gandhinagar .

Placements: Placement for Mechanical Engineering is around 90%, and the average package is about 21 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Amul, Puma, IBM, Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte, Adobe etc. The highest package is around 76 Lacs and the lowest is 10 Lacs. Around 80-85% students got internship from mechanical engineering in various recruiters are University of Buffalo, Hiyoshi International, University of Wasington, Larson and Tourbo ltd, Texas A&M University etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities at IITGN are designed to provide students with a comfortable and conducive living environment. The institute boasts 12 centrally air-conditioned and furnished hostels, accommodation over 2600 students. Each hostel has a unique name, such Aibaan, Beauki, Chimair, Duven, Emit, Firpeal, Griwiksh, Hiqom, Ijoka, Jurqia, Kyzeel and Lekhaag. IITGN takes pride in being India's first 5-star campus in food safety and healthy eating, offering nutritious and hygienically prepared meals in a hostel mess. All the sports facilities are available. A medical center is also there which includes the qualified doctors and physio.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and helpful to resolve all your doubt and able to create a friendly environment with student. Course curriculum is structured in a way that student can relate with real-life problems and involves industry based projects. Yes, course curriculum makes the students industry ready. The exams difficult level is moderate to high. The pass percentage depends from course to course and professor to professor. But generally it is 40%.

Other: At IITGN, many cultural activities happen. IITGN's annual cult fest, Blithchrone, makes the students feel a different level of enjoyment and entertainment. The yearly teach-summit named Amelthia that make students to feel the teach stardom that an IIT brings in students. Then there comes Hallabol that is 11 to 12 days of sports event, where 6-7 member student teams participate in 6-7 games like seven-stone, gully cricket, footvolly etc. Another event named Ted-x that includes with ted-talks of popular people.

Hostels are good and well-maintained.

Placements: Generally, every year, the percentage of students placed is around 85% to 95%. Last year, the highest package was around 68 LPA from Replit, and this year it's Zomato with around 53 LPA. The average placement last year was 17 LPA. Top companies include Amazon, Zomato, Accenture, DE Shaw, and Atlassian. In my batch, around 20% to 24% of students secured internships, including both industrial and academic internships.

Infrastructure: IIT Gandhinagar has excellent infrastructure compared to other colleges. Despite being a second-generation IIT, it boasts good infrastructure and hostel facilities, especially when compared to older IITs. From the 3rd year, students get single rooms, each well-spacious and equipped with AC and Wi-Fi. There are no restrictions on entering opposite-gender hostels. The nightlife on campus is vibrant, with groups gathering at food stalls for late-night conversations. Food courts remain open until 5 a.m. The sports facilities are top-notch, including well-maintained cricket grounds with floodlights, football grounds, athletic tracks, and various sports options like swimming, squash, indoor volleyball, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis, and more.

Faculty: Most teachers are well-qualified and have extensive research experience. B.Tech.. students can engage in research work under their guidance. Labs are accessible 24/7, allowing students to work at any time with proper permission. The teaching philosophy aligns with industry requirements, making students industry-ready. However, exams are challenging due to competition, and there are strict rules against copying assignments from peers or online sources.

Other: The campus has a relatively smaller student body, offering advantages in facilities and academics. However, a larger student body would enhance the overall campus life experience. Numerous clubs and regular events keep students engaged, making it challenging to find free time if one participates in half of the activities. While the festivalival is improving, the smaller student strength remains a drawback.

Yes, you can do every college have such kind if facilities and program. Colleges have dedicated societies for such activities. So, don't worry about this. Go and take admission there
