IIT Jodhpur MTech Highlights & Eligibility 2024
Master of Technology (MTech) is a popular course offered by IIT Jodhpur. It is a full-time course of a two-year duration. MTech is offered in 12 specialisations by IITJ. Candidates seeking admission can register on the institute’s official website along with the registration on Common Offer Application Portal (COAP). IIT Jodhpur releases a list of shortlisted students based on GATE scores and invites them for a written exam or interview.

IIT Jodhpur is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur city, in its sprawling 852 acres campus. Most of the Faculty Members, Officers, and Students reside on campus, while some Faculty and Staff Members opt to stay in the city in private accommodation. Activities like cultural programs, celebrations of national festivals, and workshops of general nature bring together the Faculty and Staff members along with their families and students. The campus also houses “The Jodhpur Club”, which was started with the purpose of building cultural relations with the Academic and R&D Organizations in Sun City. The employees of IIT Jodhpur and their family members use this platform to come together to fulfil their other-than-professional interests (like art and music).
IIT Jodhpur fee refund can be depend upon the time of withdrawal. Candidates who cancel/ withdraw admission after requisite fee payment get fee refund after procession fee deduction. The processing fee is of INR 5,000. It also depends upon the date of request receival. It should be as per the date mentioned in the offer letter by IDRP/ department/ centre/ school.

For BTech, as per the JoSAA R6 2022 cutoff for general category students, the closing rank for popular courses like CSE was 2430, and 3257 for AI and data science. The cutoff for Bioengineering went till 14,933. In comparison to 2021, the rank for the CSE course went from 2897 to 2430 in 2022. IIT JAM 2022 closing rank in the Fourth Admission List for MSc Physics specialisation at IIT Jodhpur stood at 600.
